I cut down on watching his videos significantly after seeing him platform nick fuentes. I wasn't too fond of him platforming lauren southern either. Nick was the last straw for me. Him platforming white supremacist is ab unforgiveavle miscalcuation on his part
He's still a pretty good debator and can dismantles someones argument pretty effortlessly though. Didn't know about the nword usage. It doesn't surprise me though.
He is just edgelord incarnant. I wasn't on his stream early, but I was there when he first got into politics, he is a solid debater, but you must understand he just knows how to utilize rhetoric beyond basic propositional logic, when things get philosophy/logic heavy he essentially backs out, it's why he refuses vegan debates and purposely excludes debates with the most philosophically inclined community, not counting that recent Vegan Gains stuff, which is clearly done for numbers.
His biggest problem is just being a manchild, dude is older than most and still acts like a kid, so the platforming of Lauren Southern, Fuentes, etc., and his behavior in general is likely doing more bad than good, Fuentes has undoubtedly grown each time he was platformed on twitch and any other channels since then.
I could type up a storm on that issue, I will save it, ironically, my views align more with Destiny given we are both determinists, which is a rare position to hold to, but I would rather have someone like Hasan leading things as opposed Destiny, which is ironic given both Hasan spawned in debate form and rhetorical skills from Destiny, and anyone that was there early in the political start knows Vaush (irishladdie) was nowhere near the same person until he boosted his platform off of Destiny. But with Destiny being such a manchild, and being so willing to platform people that would be better left to fade in irrelevance, I would rather someone like Hasan getting better and handling internet politics in the causal sense, even though I think Destiny is better at debate, rhetoric, consistency, and everything else, he is just an annoying manchild.
And I stopped watching him long before that nword nonsense, I was around because it was odd to see people so excited for politics, covering politics all day, and debating politics every day, it was the perfect space for casual political junkies that love a debate.
