The Gawd William C. Rhoden tried to tell yall.

they there by choice thoughI'm saying. take a look at the NFL scouting combine. that's more like modern day slavery than anything. they not even getting paid at that point.

When they have enough money. Owning a team is not about white v. black. It's about who got enough $$$ to own one. Michael Jordan got CRAZY dough and he still needed help to purchase the Hornets.I think you guys are missing the overall message here and it's why are these black men still playing for the white man. When are they gonna create their own league or start having ownership of these teams.
Thats a STUPID comparison. This is for FOOTBALL,which in case you haven't noticed is VERY FUKKIN DANGEROUS. These players need to be physically checked out! If your son was playing football, wouldn't you want a professional checking him out first to see if he was healthy enough? Another thing, the guys on the right can pick up their shyt and leave immediately if they felt like it. Quit football. The guys on the left, not so much.I'm saying. take a look at the NFL scouting combine. that's more like modern day slavery than anything. they not even getting paid at that point.

And many workers simply show up because they need to pay their bills in a job that they may not like doing. Athletes who feel that they don't want to play anymore can simply walk away when millions work till their 65 because they are a paycheck away from disaster. Also, wouldn't this theory apply to every industry in America where there were white owners and black workers? Which is most of them? Why single out professional athletes??
Think he talking about ownership
Or maybe you just don't know what a metaphor is. Lebron is absolutely a slave in the sense that he works for and is controlled by corporate Amerikkka. You all are being too literal when the comparison is figurative.
Obviously you're an ankle grabbing cocksucker.Obviously you've never read this book.......
He expressed an opinion supported by an argument that your dumb ass didn't even address. Address the argument or shut the fukk up.You posted a person who is expressing an opinion.
You're not addressing the argument either. Magic and Mike are no longer athletes, they're business owners/entrepreneurs. If you can't address the argument in the context that it's being made in, then just shut the fukk up until you get some understanding of what you're talking about. But Bron has his own Sports Agency that represents other athletes.
He has an ownership and is a Franchiser in Blaze Pizza chain.
His wife has a frozen yogurt chain in South Florida.
All that is possible because of his BUSINESS DEAL with the NBA.
Bron is on pace to have ownership in a franchise if he wants to.
I'm sorry but I can't call athletes Slaves. They are making more money than 99% of the world and can be owners in MANY things if they invest properly.
Is Micheal Jordan a Slave? He's an NBA owner.
Is Magic Johnson a Slave? He owns VARIOUS enterprises and invest back in the Community
Is Kobe Bryant a Slave? He just started his own entertainment/media studios.
C'mon man, it doesn't add up..If they are slaves then WE ALL are slaves.
