I rather rock with the "we're all slaves to a degree "analogy rather than trying to make a certain industry akin to chattel slavery....
I'm saying. take a look at the NFL scouting combine. that's more like modern day slavery than anything. they not even getting paid at that point.

Man ask the dude y'all going back and forth with whether he rather have Lebrons situation or his own (from a money and what he's doing to get the money standpoint) that's all you need to know for the majority of these dudes disagreeing. Dudes calling a guy making like 40-50mill a year a slave while most on here ain't even seeing 40-50k a year. Crazy times we in right now. This is just common sense... Ask any brother if they wanna be in Lebron shoes.... then ask them if they wanna be a slave..... and then with a straight face, tell them its the same thing.........![]()
LeBron definitely change, he low key after that nike contract. I still remember last year that cac report g check him on his shirt to support the movement"i cant breathe"
I have you're just too stupid to comprehend. So, like I figured... You really can't explain yourself....... Not at all actually.... You have yet to connect the dots to Lebron's current situation, and slavery by any name....
Go finish playing with yaself nikka......![]()
Lebron is controlled by white corporations and he's used to maintain the status quo. For an example of what I'm talking about just look at his response to the Tamir Rice story and the calls from the community for him to speak out. This was his public response:
“For me, I’ve always been a guy who’s took pride in knowledge of every situation that I've ever spoke on. And to be honest, I haven’t really been on top of this issue. So it’s hard for me to comment,” James said, according to ESPN. “I understand that any lives that [are] lost, what we want more than anything is prayer and the best for the family, for anyone. But for me to comment on the situation, I don’t have enough knowledge about it.”
"It was very emotional, an emotional day for all of us," James said. "Taking that picture, we're happy that we're able to shed light on the situation that we feel is unjust."
They can't make political stances, they can't speak on social issues freely, they can't even dress how they want to in the public eye. And all for a corporations who rakes in billions off of their talent.
This applies to a lot of cats making 50k.........
