Shannon beat FSU at Doak :troll:

With Kirby Freeman :snoop:

I thought Shannon had Miami improving, but they took a serious step back his last year.

Anyway Golden is probably gone after next season. Schedule is tough. Nebraska, and @ Cincy, out of conference. Clemson, @fsu, VT(back to back to back)

something is seriously wrong there, miami finished top 15 in yards per play and yards per play allowed. if you look at the teams that have finished with stats like that over the years almost all of them are national title contenders or at worst finish the regular season with 9 wins. miami finished 6-7.

Yet the administration wants to keep him around :upsetfavre:
Shalala basically said last year was his "first" year since he didn't have to deal with the sanctions :upsetfavre:

6-7 with 8 players going to the Combine and 3 or 4 going in the first 3 rounds of the draft :upsetfavre:

Any other school would have kicked ol' boy to the curb by now but not Miami which leads me to think that A. I said it in the Recruiting thread, that Golden must know a secret about the University or B. The football program is being overlooked by idiots that can't see with our geography, anything less than 8 wins a year is a failure. I'm leaning towards the latter.

NONE of our coaches are competent that's why. Even our best unit, the OL, with the talent they have recruited there underperforms.
Player development is so poor its funny :russ:.

You usually see a position on a team that is dominant or at least a couple of players that are good in a unit; 0 for Miami. Then you have people who try to defend the staff by saying that a good Jr or Sr(3 or 4 years to get good mind you) was developed by the staff, naw he just gradually improved every year.

If it wasn't for Kaaya we would've probably won 3 or 4 games.

I don't have no more sympathy for that school. They fans here are cool as shyt but in real life, they make me want to punch them in the throat repeatedly. Schedule dropped last week and out the blue, these mf's start tagging me on FB talking bout it's that time. I'm like dawg, it's been 2,700+ days since y'all could fukk with us on the field. Let it ride but they keep yappin. I hope Golden stay there forever!

Shannon beat FSU at Doak :troll:
your 2010 & 2011 recruiting classes NEVER beat FSU at Doak or Doak Campbell South :troll:
Florida State is undefeated against Miami under Jimbo Fisher, winning the five games by a margin of 172 to 96.

I'll say this much, as a Noles fan, I was relieved when Shannon got fired because I thought he was on the verge of turning their program around. With Al Bundy Golden, I'm equally relieved whenever I hear that his job is safe and that he'll be back the following year. Guy hitched his wagon to his boy Donofrio and its gonna ultimately cost him his job.
