I thought Shannon had Miami improving, but they took a serious step back his last year.
Anyway Golden is probably gone after next season. Schedule is tough. Nebraska, and @ Cincy, out of conference. Clemson, @fsu, VT(back to back to back)
You know it is bad when Gators fire a coach have basically two losing seasons in a row and make out better than the Canes.

You ain't NEVER lie about being a great recruiter. He got us back into South Florida in a fukking month this year in recruiting and we got a few recruits out of that area. I don't think he'll be on our staff for long because I REALLY believe he'll be a coordinator or HC again

I'm hearing Al is still here because his buyout is to high. His buyout goes down after this season.
Those stats are very misleading because Golden's philosophy is to take away the deep pass at all costs. He concedes 5 yards per play and hopes the opposing team makes a mistake as they are driving down the field. This has been his philosophy since he got to Miami, and he refuses to change. That's why the fans hate his ass so much.

do they think we're STUPID? How come Franklin up at Ped State, who had WORSE sanctions mind you, didn't complain about nor let a "cloud" stop his recruiting and winning?
USC had sanctions too, yet they cleaned up in recruiting. The administration is lying to us trying to feed us bullcrap about Golden, when in reality, he's gonna be fired after this year and we're gonna start the process we should've started in November, NEXT November...
It's like the admin wants to do the most with the LEAST. He went 6 and FREAKING 7 last year, losing the last 4 straight in utter embarrassment. Then they tell us he's coming back and he'll be BETTER than this year? Am i stupid? HELL NAH.
He skews the stats in his favor while under recruiting in an area RIPE with A+++ recruits...look at the south florida list, he whiffed on almost ALL the good kids while picking up a few scragglers who, lucky for us, were Canes fans from birth...Hell, half the kids that were "lifetime Canes fans" didn't even get recruited much, they said so themselves...Half of em woulda came here. Nah, he wants some effing 2* kids from Jersey to play his wack-azz (excuse my french) "read and react" bullcrap. You got some of the most aggressive and talented players in the nation in your back yard and you want them to play conservative? I'm done with Al Folden and his band of Cantgetrights
