Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind. - Albert Einstein

He was Jewish and even went to Catholic school. He was open to it and disliked being called an atheist.

speak more on this brother...
It's better expressed by this Yahoo answers quote I found, because I honestly couldn't describe it clearly myself...so here:

Albert Einstein quoted this phrase this when addressing his friend Max Born over an issue of quantum mechanics in the 1920s. It is actually not remotely religious in nature, and just an expression of disagreement at the quantum theory concepts of mathematical divergence.
Einstein was resolute that the universe should be wholly predictable through physical laws, whereas ideas of Quantum mechanics were suggesting that some areas of prediction could be little more than an either/or/maybe pot luck. The use of the term god is only an allegorical illustration of Einstein's belief in a constant steady law and is not a reference to any actual being.

Einstein would later come around to the concepts of quantum mechanics and spent the remainder of his life hunting for a grand unifying theory to link the macro world of relativity to the micro world of the quantum.

"I seriously doubt that Jesus himself said that he was God, for he was too much a Jew to violate that great commandment: Hear O Israel, the Eternal is our God and He is one!' and not two or three." Einstein lamented, "Sometimes I think it would have been better if Jesus had never lived. No name was so abused for the sake of power!" Nevertheless, he also expressed his belief that "if one purges the Judaism of the Prophets and Christianity as Jesus Christ taught it of all subsequent additions, especially those of the priests, one is left with a teaching which is capable of curing all the social ills of humanity." -a.e.

The thing is, atheists are adamant about making people of book out to be some illogical, brainwashed dummies, however, they cannot provide a shred of evidence negating God's existence.
You can't provide a shred of evidence that I'm not Jesus reborn. You see how that kind of statement doesn't really make sense :ld:
