Let's not kid ourselves, the WWE roster is not full of talent. It is filled with young unproven talent and top heavy, aging veterans. However, the roster wouldn't be as stale if they invested in the IC belt.

Mark Henry (or Kane, or some other big man) ought to be pushing the IC title. Then you could groom the your second tier talent. The problem with WWE is that they view 2nd tier talent as Midcarders.

At some point your veterans (the guys who are former world champions) should be jobbing to the IC title contenders.

But even by McMahon's chauvinistic standards, he has woefully misused Del Rio. If he wanted the Latino "market" then he should have booked him as a competent villain.

The fact that most of us seem to be about ADR leaving is all you need to know. The way he's been pushed over the years you could argue he should be the top heel in the WWE. I respect his wrestling ability and he could cut decent promos - but he won't be really missed.

He's heel Christian. He's been given opportunity after opportunity and failed to do anything to capitalize on his position, only to show up with NOTHING to revolutionize his character. The only thing that's changed is no Ricardo, his music, and his car gimmick: the best things he had going for him.

If he's mad at the direction of his character, he should have done more to make his character stand out.
