His music doesn't have that "it factor", though. Like he can rap his azz off and his production is top notch but he doesn't have that "mythos." You can clearly tell he listens to ALOT of rap, based on his twitter, and likes to pay homage by jacking other rappers slang but who is Danny outside of being a really good rapper w/ a crazy image? The content ain't unique at all.
How are those Ab Soul and Schoolboy Q joints? This should be dope, looking forward to the feast

Did you listen to XXX or The Hybrid? I'm not saying he does not have his own thang but dude clearly bites adlibs and lingo. He also hops on the new wave of things ignorant rappers do. I mean this is a rapper who wants to be hard and all masculine but is signed to an Indie white label and is friends with Kitty Pryde. I place him in with Das Racist, smart dudes who can rap their asses off but just don't have "it". He's too aware as a rapper and doesn't have that inborn charisma.
