Can you franchise aldi? I don't think they do franchising. I could be wrong though.

Never investigated it homie. I know they are a private family owned company and those are harder to franchise. They do sell and buy property from regular folks though. But I am sure there are opportunities with them even if not franchises such as supplier deals and what not.

You can get most of your staple items here. I may have to run to the larger stores for specialty items, fancy produce or brands that I'm not willing to go generic on, but this is where the bulk of my grocery shopping happens.
What all do you buy at Aldis?

Aldi to Go Full Organic, Will Ban All Pesticides as of January 2017

A supermarket that is known for its low prices is starting to make a name for itself as a health food store. In recent years, Aldi has been removing certain pesticides and chemicals from its products, and now they are going even further. As of January 1, the German retailer will be removing eight pesticides from all products on its U.S. stores shelves. With its new focus on organic food, Aldi has gained a reputation as a go-to place for the health-conscious shopper.

They are expanding their organic food brands, removing some artificial ingredients from products and adding more gluten-free items.

They have removed certified synthetic colors, partially hydrogenated oils, and MSG from their private-label products (which make up 90% of sales).

They have expanded their sales of fresh and organic meat and produce, including the “Never Any!” brand of meats that contain no added antibiotics, hormones, animal by-products or other additives.

The chain will also expand the SimplyNature line (which is free of more than 125 artificial ingredients) and their gluten-free liveGfree brand.

Their milk was free of artificial growth hormones, but now its yogurt, sour cream, cottage cheese, and other dairy products will be as well.

They have begun to offer more high-end foods like artisan cheeses, smoked salmon, quinoa, and coconut oil.

The pesticides being removed are:

Thiamethoxam

Chlorpyrifos

Clothianidin

Cypermethrin

Deltamethrin

Fipronil

Imidacloprid

Sulfoxaflor

*The next day the principal calls home*

What all do you buy at Aldis?

I am not a snack food type of person. At most, I'll make some homemade salsa or I'll eat hummus. So most of what I buy is produce, Greek yogurt, ground turkey, and frozen fruit. They also have lots of nuts that I buy. I get the rest of my meat and what not from the other markets. Usually I'll buy a lot of meat on sale and throw it in the freezer and when I cook just buy the produce. I TRY and buy grass fed beef, and organic chicken, but sometimes the price difference is just too great. When that's the case, I'll just buy that stuff at Aldi's as well. I don't eat canned goods or too many processed foods so those are my main staples.
