THE DESCRIPTION IN THAT TWEET IS MISLEADING...

THIS ARTICLE SAYS
AROD CAME UP WITH THE MONEY...
HE DID TWICE ACTUALLY.

NBA REJECTED ARODS INVESTORS
THE CARLYLE GROUP A FEW DAYS AGO...

AROD HAD A BACKUP PLAN
AND GOT THE MONEY ANYWAY
BUT THE NBA WASNT GOING
TO APPROVE OR REJECT THE DEAL UNTIL APRIL.

Still, A-Rod without Carlyle had a back-up plan and raised the money but the whole process was delayed.

A-Rod and Lore maintain they met the deadline but Taylor disagrees and it will now be up to a mediator to decide.

What is clear is even if Lore and A-Rod had the money, they were waiting on NBA approval, which was not expected until an April Board of Governors meeting, sources said.

Posters are overlooking how much the A-Rod/JLo breakup had on what's transpiring considering it was said at the time that A-Rod didn't have his part of the cash on hand and was depending on JLo's star power to help out.

It was a wrap on their aspirations the moment that break up happened as they've been trying to scrap up the bread every since.

ya I remember when it was first announced that A-Rod was investing in the Wolves, Jlo's name was apart of it as if they were investing together as a couple.

Not necessarily a loophole if he had to till 27th to come up with the bread. He obviously didn’t have the bread like that if it had to come down to the last minute after having years to do it.

ITS A LOOPHOLE BECAUSE
IF THE WOLVES STILL SUCKED
HE WOULDNT BE TAKING HIS TEAM BACK.

AROD CAME UP WITH THE MONEY
BY THE 27TH BUT THE NBA STILL
HAS TO APPROVE THE SELL IN APRIL
SINCE THEY SHOT DOWN ARODS
OTHER INVESTORS A FEW DAYS AGO.

the carlyle group backed out last second, probably due to the NBA requirements

this shyt happens in business all the time, i dont think it has anything to do with A-Rod not having the bread. He found a new investor less than 24 hours later. None of these guys are putting up their own personal bread. A-Rod showed the ability to find the investors, just loopholes and semantics standing in the way. Glen doesn't want to sell the team anymore.

Yup.

ARod could EASILY get another backer for this thing. Dude is buddies with Buffet and that means having access to backers who roll with Buffet

Suddenly the T Wolves are popping again and now the owner is :whoa: and not willing to sell. If they were Miami Marlins status he would be selling the team at crack prices and that would be the end of it.

On the other hand you see how these inflated franchise values are even making multi millionaires look like broke boys to a point where all you can afford to buy into is the BIG 3 :russ:

Bro sold the timberwolves for discount and gave them 3 yrs to pay the money and they couldn't even finish it.
He even allowed them installment plan(something unheard of when buying teams) he had no reason to be giving this much leeway not surprised his patience wore thin.

HE DID ALL OF THIS
BECAUSE HE DIDNT WANT
THE STINKING TEAM AND
NO ONE WOULD BUY THE STINKIN TEAM.

STOP ACTING LIKE HE
WAS DOING THEM A SOLID.

NOW THE TEAM IS GOOD
AND HE JUMPED AT THE FIRST CHANCE
TO TAKE THE TEAM BACK

This is genuinely incredible. Arod and Lore have been doing the behind the scenes work to get this team good in this past year, right?? I could've sworn they took over control in 2023.

He's essentially taking their effort and telling them to fukk off now because he was a bad owner this whole time.
The 4/5 best players on the team were drafted before they came the previous gm who was fire is who built the team.

He gave them a massive discount

What part of simply being a nba team was worth 2.5 billion do u not understand?
That was the bare minimum to own a nba team in 2021. around the same time investors from las vegas which included Floyd Mayweather wanted to buy the team for above value they're intentions was moving the team to las vegas(Floyd Mayweather himself talks abt this).
The reason they got massive discounts was to keep the team in Minneapolis all the other potential buyers wanted to move them.

I’m pretty sure that’s how most billion dollar financial deals are done. No one pays in one installment. :dead:
