Don't laugh too hard, the Chiefs need Alex Smith more than he needs them, they got the cap room, maybe he doesn't get paid 18, but he could easily get a long term 13-15 milly contract with incentives and to be honest the gap between him and Jay Cutler isn't that wide.

I'm talking about getting to a Conference game with the Chiefs. I don't see that happening.

And I'm aware that teams get to games. But Smith is not getting any younger and he folded pretty badly in that collapse against the Colts. That was inexcusable.
