She's making an idiotic distinction between Israel's "offensive" and "defensive" weaponry and capabilities, as if the impunity they enjoy from the Iron Dome doesn't affect their decision making in being the most belligerent and aggressive actor in the region. And even if we accept her bullshyt line about "we're only giving them defensive weapons!", she's arguing that we should continue giving a state actively committing a genocide defensive support. That's an interesting position. So either put Israel in a Cold War posture or make it so they also have to take on causalities if they attack anyone. Honestly, I'm not sold on that reasoning.
This is the only reason I would have voted for the amendment. I just read that more Palestinians are being attacked and killed while trying to get basic aid. There's absolutely no reason or justification that this should be happening. And my vote and subsequent speech in the House would have made that clearl.

I'm not sure what you mean by putting Israel in a Cold War posture, but what's wrong with the reasoning? If a state is committing genocide with impunity, why should that state be immune from the consequences of their actions? If Israel was bearing the full brunt of their actions they would probably be acting with much more comity.
Right. AOC could have easily said "I agree with the content of the amendment, and that the genocidal Israeli government shouldn't be receiving a single dollar or munition in aid, but we should be weary of the amendment author who does not have a long history of taking principled anti-war stances." She could have even voted against the amendment and put out something like this:
