That's the mistake some of y'all make. Ain't nobody "crying". I'm having just as much fun making fun of this bullshyt:mjlol:

I don't know how talking about the bad elements of something automatically translates to "he mad" "he crying" to some of y'all:mjlol:

These nikkas made a YA Alien show and nikkas supposed to not make fun of it?:mjlol:

And again you're entertained by AI art nikka you love fan fiction:dead:

Naw, from Alien 1- 4 it was about Ripley vs The Alien with Yutani as background villains.

Ever since Prometheus the franchise has become about Androids with the Xenomorph now as a backdrop and just used to SELL TICKETS.

Ridley will probably have them insert David into the Romulus sequel.
Yea but "MORE XENOMORPHS" ain't the answer. After Prometheus that's exactly what they did and it didn't help

David is a great character:manny:

I think one of the most frustrating elements of Earth is they laid ground for what could've been a good show but didn't execute

We got plenty Xenomorph here but like nikkas already said it was reduced to being a bulletproof pet velociraptor:mjlol:

Question for you and the other ppl saying they bulletproof. When I watched the scene of the bullet bouncing off the Alien's head in the Dawn Sylvia scene I was like "This motherfukker bullproof? :dahell: " Then I was thinking shouldnt the bullet sparks showed a spark or something off the ricochet?

Listened to a pod yesterday and they said those were rubber bullets. They said all the soldiers are using rubber bullets because they are still trying under orders to catch the creature alive.

That's makes a lot of sense as to why the creature was so unfazed. Do you and others think it's possible that everyone used rubber bullets?I dont think I ever saw a "gearing up scene" where we see the soldiers loading their weapons :jbhmm:

Take the "Alien" branding and the Xenomorph out and nobody tunes in, hell the show doesn't even get made.

The logical continuation to the Xenomorph storyline is adding hybrid Xenomorphs.

This show did good in adding other Alien lifeforms to the universe, but we should have seen what happens when you cross intelligent alien lifeforms with a Xenomorph. This is what I expected the show to do.

And naw the Xenomorph was barely in the show and did not drive the show in terms of plot either.

Her becoming the Mad Queen wasn't the issue, it was the half ass road they took to get there
I don't even think they took a road. All that happened is they wiped Nibbs eye monster attack memory, and all of a sudden Wendy went from being this happy girl that was all on board with everything they were doing to turning into a murderous psycho that's happy to get hundreds of people killed. All these hybrid synthetics were 10-12 year old kids 2 weeks ago, and now they're ripping people's faces off and sicking Xenos on people, and want to just take over and rule everything for some reason?

It all makes zero sense. They could've had Wendy;s brother get eye monster tested on or something and actually given her a better reason to hate humans and Boy Kav, etc.

it dead ass feels like this was another show and then the Xenomorphs were suddenly added in at the 11th hour.

If you take the Xenos out or replace them with another type of alien, literally nothing about the story changes or is altered in any way.

It's like the Temu version of Westworld combined with hamfisted Peter Pan allegories, with random aliens and a Xeno or two thrown in for good measure.

they saw their graves and realised that they were copies and not humans.

they realised that the humans killed them.

nibs saying she was pregnant was a sign of wanting to be human (even though not)

wendy was betrayed by her brother.

xeno is influencing wendy.

synth hybrid tech does not work and they all go crazy eventually (which is why there are none in the future)

Lots of stupid logic from the show on this, though.

First of all, the company would've neverrrr made graves for them. One of the dumbest parts of the entire show. There's an existential and philosophical argument that they aren't even dead. Second of all, they were all terminally ill, and they were all about to be dead anyways. So how the fukk were they killed by the humans? They weren't. The only reason they're in any form of conscious existence is because of Prodigy/Boy Kav.

Now, this "are they dead/were they killed" is something the show could've actually spent time wrestling with the philosophy of, and they could've made this interesting, but they just went "derp, gravestones = they murdered us, so let's kill them all."

That's such a generic and dumbed down way to write this conflict. And how was Wendy betrayed by her brother? Because he tasered Nibs for 15 seconds after she ripped off that security guard's jaw? Lol. Nibs was totally fine right at the beginning of the next episode. And why are ALL the kids on board with mass murder all of a sudden? Again, these are all 10-12 year old kids.

I do agree that the Xeno may be influencing Wendy a little bit, but that's way too generic and rushed, and not fleshed out yet to be believable for her to go full heel turn so fast. At this point, Wendy went from a terminally ill, sweet 12 year old girl, to full mass murdering psycho in just 1-2 episodes, and it's just super rushed and pushed the suspense of disbelief.

dr. "i love the kids" along with his wifey probably buried them. the way she destroyed that pPad suggests she feels guilt for what they did.

:mjlol:they are soulless copies of humans. not humans. sort of like vampires. but even less human. they are not "in any form" other than being in the ground. vamp lore is replete with vamp lament due to their hollow state.

Now, this "are they dead/were they killed" is something the show could've actually spent time wrestling with the philosophy of, and they could've made this interesting, but they just went "derp, gravestones = they murdered us, so let's kill them all."

it's american. should have got some dr. who writer's help. what can i say?

repeat after me. "the kids are dead. these are malfunctioning programs that were bootstrapped with the minds of kids"

yeah you have problems with how the show developed ideas and failed to deal with concepts in a realistic grounded, paced, adult way.

i agree. less temu and more a juvenile ayahuasca induced haze that felt increasingly detached from real world verisimilitude the longer it went on.

good plot points but poor execution in parts.
