Who is the true experiment?

i don’t see how the Morrow infiltration can last long if the kids are being monitored. But that was some gradeA child manipulation techniques he was using.

I figured the brother would get some kind of upgrade but that was pretty harsh. Still not a fan of how he is getting treated so special by the writers.

I want to know why the xeno wanted him so bad. The xeno could have captured anybody else and impregnated them by now. :dame:

My only problem with the episode was the Xenomorph went HAM on everyone else, but barely hurt Wendy and her brother?

:patrice:

That scene was poorly written. Other than that, loved it.

Morrow said he found the eggs on a moon(though it is ambiguous if it was LV426), which was where the Nostromo landed in the first film and that Xeno was a bit of a sadist, playing cat and mouse with it's prey, which could have been the same here.

The Aliens in Aliens were weeks old and led by the Queen, which influenced their behavior (coordinated attacks, capturing prey rather than killing, greater stealth).

Alien 3 was hosted by a dog, hence it's animalistic nature.

Alien 4 Xenos had a bit of human DNA which allowed even greater intelligence and competency against humans.

Fair point.

:ehh:

Just felt like plot armor.

That's how I was trying to justify it but yeah, he should have been cooked a million times over since he would have just been head bitten asap. I guess he wanted to start a hive and turn another victim into an egg and have that guy get facehugged.

That was actually a nice nod to Alien 3, they had a concept of the Dragon keeping all the dead prisoners in a "meat locker" but they ran out of budget to do it and it was never filmed.

I'm sorry but every scene with the brother is a 3/10 plot armor immersion breaking eye roll :camby:

Every scene without the brother is 10/10 cinema in television format :banderas:

Dude is a far more interesting character unconscious :mjlol:

But yea, that aside,
the cyborg breh is killing it! However, after a somewhat shaky ep 2 what really won me over in ep 3 and for this series are the branching plot points they've now established with the kids. Nearly all of them aside from Wendy had felt like afterthoughts but now 4 of the 6 are in some fukkery.

To me this was the best of the 3 eps. Once you get past the beginning with Mr. 3/10, the rest of the ep was a vibe.

I didn’t understand the second half of episode 3. Why was Wendy feeling that and what was the organ in the tank the alien tad pole went into? And what’s the android up to?

The wendy thing we don't know yet.

They took her brother's lung out and that's what the alien baby went into

They took the brother‘s (or as @Primetime called him Mr. 3/10:dead:) lung out. She wasn’t feeling but hearing it scream. In one of then1st episodes they established that she can hear well above whatever range they had planned for her. Remember when they got to the crash site she asked one of the other kids if they could “hear that”.
