Question…do you bruhs prefer Cameron’s idea of a Xenomorph queen. And the Xenomorphs basically being space bugs with a hive and all. Or Scott’s og vision of the Xenomorphs being a bioweapon created from the black goo. We know that Scott originally wasn’t fun of Aliens, and the idea of a Queen. But which do you prefer queen or bioweapon?
I would prefer Scott's if he could stick the fukking landing but since he can't....

As a huge fan of the videogame Alien: Isolation, I loved the Easter eggs they sprinkled in with the callbacks to the earlier films. The first half of this movie felt like the OG Alien in that it was slow, methodical, intense, and claustrophobic. The second half definitely had a part II vibe in that it felt more action oriented, rapid paced, & wide open. The two subtle shift in tones actually worked here.

the last duel was incredible. We're lucky to get whatever we get out of him.
. Nice use of gravity and acid, although the gore factor doesn't reach the heights of the director's Evil Dead Remake. Andy/Rain dynamic really helped the story.
