You know what I really dont get? how does Walt gets a pass for not handling the conflict man to man, but Jesse doesnt?

A few random comments about the last 10 or so pages....

1. at people not understanding/complaining about Walt offering $80 mill to save Hank, when we seen the outcome of Hank dying in the very same ep.

Hank dead = Walt's family is done. Even if it didn't unfold exactly how it did, can you think of any possible scenario where Hank would randomly disappear, and Skyler/Marie wouldn't suspect Walt? Hell no. Walt was trying to use the $80 mill as leverage to save his family. Also like @Liquid said, Walt could easily re-up some of that money. Maybe not $80 mill but something. You can't re-up family.

2. Another at people needing some kind of deep character arc or motivation for why Todd would give Walt a pass in the desert. He fukking idolizes Walt. People didn't notice him randomly calling Walt, leaving rambling awkward messages? The custom ringtone? Him all when telling his uncle about how brilliant "Mr. White" was during the train heist?

3. If you guys need a stream, go to brettygood.com. It's hosted by Matt Jones aka Badger from "BB" and runs smooth as butter. If it lags at all he changes video players during the commercials. Just make sure to refresh the page when he does. I seen some people saying it crashed, nah you didn't reload the page after he told you to. He leaves it on AMC for 2 hours so you get to see last week's ep, and the new one.

4. Bryan Cranston is the greatest actor on the planet.

....well there IS the whole "not dealing meth in the first place" thing.

And the whole "not taking Gus's offer after you just sold your entire stash" thing.

And the "force Jesse to move into other territory despite having a decent operation and not give a fukk whether his friends get shot" thing.

And the "killing Mike for literally no reason" thing.

I could go on.

I posted this August 17th... Called it!!!... page 143 if you need to verify my prediction swag ...I predicted Declan goons would kill skylar (LOL) and that Walt would pull a gus on them .. but peep the last line

all the walt/gus simliarities are making me think about the gus flashback scene... in that scene, they kill gus's "boyfriend" and eventually Gus gets his revenge by poisoning...

so we see walt getting the poison, I think that delcan or lydias goons will kill what walt loves the most (his wife or his son or both) so he will attempt to pull a gus and kill the bad guys to extract revenge... i bet you anything that walt will be lying face down and looking directly into the face of skylar or whoevers dead body the same way gus did ....book it!

As for the people who don't get why some root for Walt...he understands that there is no redemption for him so he proceeds as such. Jesse's morality makes no sense. Try to define where he stands. It's okay to shoot Gale in the face, peddle meth in a rehab, but involving kids is wrong. He was throwing money away like he could save his soul. Walt understands that lies, manipulation, murder, and collateral damage are all in the game. Despite his ruthless ways he still maintains his purpose which is to set up his family before he dies. Sure pride and greed started to manifest but he always moves with a purpose. Even the "evil" things he's hated for made sense. If he didn't let Jane die Jesse would've been pennyless and an overdose waiting to happen. If he didn't poison Brock Gus would've bodied him and Jesse. If he didn't kidnap Holly he couldn't protect his family. Thinking Walt's evil is shortsighted. People even thought he killed Holly and left her in the truck. Despite his actions his humanity is still there. Nothing he's done is evil.

Once again, he killed Triple OG Mike, the realest dude on the show, for no reason whatsoever other than Mike insulted him with facts. Then he was sad and coppin pleas immediately after, knowing he fukked up. I was with him until then but that shyt was as bytchmade as anything Jesse's done.

smh, last episode was a reminder of what a cold world/game this was.

Walt had numerous opportunities to send Hank to the upper room but opted not to out of loyalty to family. Hank ultimately caught him and was so happy to turn him in. EVEN AFTER, Walt attempted one last time to negotiate Hank's survival (lost the money too)
Walt always looked out for his family and their future should he pass (the $80 mil). Last episode? Skyler and that fukkin mongoloid Flynn snitched and turned on him to the final limit Even then, he looked after his daughter Holly's safety and put her in the fire house so she'd be safe.

But now? People gotta die. Walt Jr. gotta have his crutches' bolts loosed, Skyler gotta go and Marie gotta go just cause.

Walt's been wrong for a lot of the shyt he's done throughout the show but he always looked out for the fam. Underappreciated by those who truly mattered.
