My dad was African, born in Liberia but you need to know the history of Liberia first. His father was from North Carolina, he was heavily influenced by Marcus Garvey and decided to move over there and start a new life, then eventually came back. I don't make it a habit to share too much of personal life on here so I won't say too much. This division is crazy, how many generations are you willing to go back to prove you were descended from slaves in the US? I know for a fact that both sides of me are. I'm not going to try and prove myself any further. Do you consider your history beginning when white people gave you your name? You're more than that and I swear to you black people who were born in another country aren't your enemy. @HarlemHottie if you're really from Harlem I can't believe you grew up thinking that, that's wild to me.

Perhaps we just now care about as much about other ethncities, that they have shown they care about us. Many Black Americans are waking up to the okeydoke, and seeing what the truth is. We voted against this more so than even other Black ethnicities in this country, keep that in mind. So we did our part, and now many of us are standing back and allowing consequences to happen.

I personally will not allow the issues of other ethnicities to trump the issues of my own people. So if a sister in power is putting Black American issuse first, then I have no problem supporting her. If any of you have a problem with it, well there is nothing you can do about it.
