All NBA should not determine this

Yes it should.
Definitely over Beal and I'd put him over KyME as well. Luka shoulda been on the team as a First Team forward. No way Kawhi shoulda been First Team.
Luka isn't a forward though.
I think Tatum should've made it over Butler. Also, I know they're doing it by position but seems crazy that the #2 guy in MVP voting (Embiid) would only make the 2nd team
There's only room for 1 center per team and they aren't doing the backcourt/frontcourt format like the All-Star game.

It's essentially the same roster as last year yet they didn't make the playoffs minus Jae Crowder :mjlol:

Obviously the voters felt CP3 played a big part in the Suns success hence them giving him 2nd team All NBA over other players with better numbers. That's why I've asked the question of how do you determine who deserves a seat at the table, yet no one can give me a proper answer.
Yeah and there is a huge difference between Chris Paul and Ricky Rubio. Having another allstar and not a random role player makes your team better:gladbron::skip:.

No one is discrediting Chris Paul or his impact, you might be since you think having Ricky Rubio instead of him, that Booker should have had the same record.

If you remove Booker from this years roster and replace him with Joe Harris, are they doing this? No.

Suns were a game away from making the playoffs last year, Ayton, Bridges and Booker are all better this year. Jae Crowder is a huge piece for them and Chris Paul is a great general. They have a deep squad.

This is not some team where Chris Paul came in and overachieved with role players. I have no issue with him making the All-NBA but if I were to add Booker/Mitchell, it would be him or Beal who are the two weakest from the guards. All have a good case and there is not a wide gap.

If you think Booker was the more important player, then you're also essentially saying that Phoenix still could have beaten the Lakers without him. A lie even you Lakers fans wouldn't admit as it'd essentially be going against everything y'all have said about the team all season long.

Don't forget the fact that The Coli was literally ready to send the Suns to Cancun the moment CP3 went down with the shoulder injury.

I think for all the awards there should be a simple requirement to be eligible to make these teams or win these awards:

"You can't miss more than 10 games in a season to be eligible."

Kyrie missed 18 games, or 25% of his teams games.

Khawi missed 20 games, or almost 30% of his teams games.

Embiid missed 21 games, or 30% of his teams games.

LeBron missed 27 games, or basically 40% of his teams games.

Get these fools off my All NBA Team. :camby:

You are the only one arguing about the importance of one guy while I am trying to tell you there were other good players.:hubie:

And what happened? Booker took over and was the best player in that series, Ayton was the 2nd best, and you can argue Cam Payne was the 3rd best. His teammates stepped up while Chris Paul was hurt and showed you their depth. Chris Paul was the best player in the Nugget series.

Booker and others are as important to the winning and success they had this year as Chris Paul is. Trying to argue why Booker did not do great with Ricky Rubio instead is just a bad argument

Their offense literally looked lost as hell sometimes when Payne was the floor general. He's more of a spark plug and not the floor general/leader of CP3. I'll ask you this question since you seem to insist on using numbers to support your argument.

If everything is putting up numbers in the NBA, then how do you determine who is All NBA worthy? Dudes are in here complaining about who is a snub, but haven't come up with a better method of determining who is actually worthy of consideration or not.

I called this exact thread and debate months ago.
