Kobe is 2nd team and so is duncan. Duncan is a part in a machine, he isn't the catalyst on the team

Black Griffin on the same team with Russell Westbrook and Melo foh

Chris Paul is 2nd team too, Parker is 1st team

so you're gunna act like injuries didn't play a role in the lakers not meeting expectations? and ignore that Wade was ghost until what december, january? and that Harden was completely shytty for the last 2 months or so?

i'm not gunna argue with you if you say Wade, Parker, or Westbrook deserved it, but to act like Kobe has no case for first team is ridiculous.

Every team is faced with injuries, my bulls had been hit harder than the lakers and yet won the same amount of games with no one sniffing any all nba team.

Kobe played the majority of the season and is considered one ofthe 5 best players in the league. Dwight played the majority, so their 2 top players should still win atleast 50 games to me. They underachieve and have to be penalized IMO.

You can make a case for Kobe, but to me wade, parker, russy, and harden should get the nod over Kobe in my opinion.

Kobe 45 wins - expected to win 65+ and title - did not meet expectations
Harden 45 wins - exceeded expectations
Wade 66 wins - 27 game win streak. shooting career high 52%. Plays 4 less minutes than Kobe and Harden still put up same rebounds and assist

team success plays a part as well

Nobody really distanced themselves from Kobe though. Harden was close with the numbers and the W's but close isn't gonna be enough to knock Kobe off. You have to be undeniably better on both fronts. :comeon: at Wade. He took half the season off. If we are talking 2008 Wade contributing to a 66 (well probably 70+ if you have Wade playing at that level all season) then that's one thing. However Wade's level of play fluctuated throughout the year while Kobe was pretty consistent.

Exactly. No player made a clear case over a 34 year old Kobe averaging 27/6/6 and literally dragging his team by the bootstraps to make the playoffs.

The media isn't going to penalize an all-time great at the end of his career playing whole games like he's 25 just for his team to stay above water.

:salute: to Wade for that 3rd team even though the knee wasn't right for a good portion of the year. He ain't done just yet.

And :aicmon: at the overrating of CP3 is becoming sickening. First CP3 making 1st team all defense when he didn't deserve to, and now he makes 1st team All NBA when both Parker and Westbrook are both more deserving than him? And :wtf: Blake Griffin making an All-NBA team over LMA??? :whoa: These coaches are fukking clueless and are as worse than the media when it comes to voting.

Harden put up the same numbers as kobe, same wins, but exceeded expectations while kobe failed to live up to his.

Even if wade took half the season off like u say, he's still right there with both kobe and harden in rebounds, assist, and is better in steals blocks and fg% despite playing 3-4 less minutes per night, on a team that won 20 more games than both.
