I like how the profile lines harken back to the older first gen CLS. I had a W219 63 AMG.

But the rest of the car looks like it got caught under a hot fire and started melting.

the CLS stock is a way faster car than the A7 and the AMG blows the S7 out the water, you really need a RS7 to be comparable, engine wise, but then now you are spending $40-50k more on the A7 line just to be comparable to a more common CLS line.

Before the A7 interior was very lacking compared to the CLS, but the new A7 interior might be GOAT :wow: but usually on road, the CLS is still a superior looking car.

edit:

2018 CLS550 stock engine: 402 HP ($75k MSRP)
2018 Audi A7 stock engine: 340 HP ($69K MSRP)

2018 CLS 63 AMG engine: 577 HP ($108k MSRP)
2018 Audi S7 engine: 450 HP ($81k MSRP)
2018 Audi RS7 engine: 560 HP ($114k MSRP... if you can find one, usually marked up to $120-130+k due to rarity.)

Comparable? Maybe now. But just last year a RS7 would have blown the doors off of a CLS63.

I’m waiting for the first few reviews to come through. Hoping Mercedes didn’t gimp this thing because of the impending AMG GT 4-Door.

Um, the base model (CLS450) is gonna be an inline 6 fam, 362 hp. Actually, that might be the only engine next year. They haven't said shyt about a V8 yet. :lolbron:
