Breh Essex County and Newark in particular is notorious for Car thefts



I would know, I grew up there and can remember being outside for recess in school and stolen cars would speed by the school everyday. it got to a point where we cheered and threw up the when we saw one.



Newark at one time was the car theft capital of the world, they even made a movie about it "New Jersey Drive"

This security guard at my job is a cop as well and he always has his radio with him. He says its like 4 or 5 a night on average. Is this a gang initiation thing or something????

Somebody broke into my car 3 days ago... smashed my window and tried to loot but since I don't keep shyt in my car and the glove box stays locked, they didn't get shyt. I live in East Orange but fukk that.. i'm going back to Bergen County where it's safer..

Bergen county have breaks in to breh, all them heroin and meth addicts needs they fix some how. Thats why Im not moving back to newark, I love my city but it doesnt love me

I remember my pops had both his cars stolen in one night, one of them was stolen by a nicca who lived in the projects around the corner and he tried to keep it, parking it in the same parking lot my uncle fixed cars in

once u get out of the downtown/prudential area it can get real very quick at night if u walking around.

My father and uncle have both had their cars broken into and they both had them parked in security authorized parking lots



My uncle got his shyt stolen and it turned out that the dudes who stole his shyt were joyriding until they got in a gunfight while in the car, the shyt got sprayed with bullets and it turns out they found a body in it
