This is what people who are not Nets fans aren't realizing.Right or wrong Joe Tsai went for the gusto on 2 different occasions and got burned both times. Dude went super conservative amd the team is not in nearly as bad a position as they were with the Garnett Paul Pierce trade. Basically they are going to have to ride the Ben Simmons contract out maybe move a few players for future picks and go from there. Is Mikal Bridges an elite player no but I get why the Nets value him the fans like him and he is a culture guy and his contract relative to his talent is very team friendly.

I think Tsai is not afraid of scary hours Nets experiment, but more afraid of getting kidnapped outta nowhere by chinese the way Jack Ma was basketball is one of the last things that worries him.
