The prime reason why it's difficult to tank when you don't own your own picks and dependent on someone else's.

You're essentially dependent in other teams picks becoming more valuable than your own or having to give up more in return just to get yours back.

Resident “light skinned dark skinned half cracka mutt” @Gil Scott-Heroin was cheering this idiot on when he bashed Kyrie in the media for weeks on end :mjlol:

He was never a good GM, never was able to recruit top stars (KD and Kyrie chose to go there without speaking to him), and can’t draft worth a damn.

This past draft was malpractice. 3 first rounders and he didn’t pick one player that is good enough to start on the worst team in the league.

Actually 4 first rounders

This should be a way bigger story than what it is. I understand Joe Dumars taking heat (which he deserves) but he at least got Fears and Queen to build a strong foundation with.

This Bozo just went 0-5 in the first round of the draft. Let me reiterate he had FIVE FIRST ROUND PICKS and not one of those kids are worth a damn.

I’ve never seen that shyt before and it should be a way way WAY bigger story right now. Like seriously who goes 0-5 in a draft?

@Gil Scott-Heroin was his number one fan on here especially when he felt Kyrie “stepped out of place” :mjpls:
Nice try, but your lying coward ass is to blame for jinxing yet another team -
The title they won against poor (and injured) competition gave them a false reality that they were good enough to compete for years to come. They also drafted a bunch of guys who play the same way.

The salary cap is kicking their ass, and Jamal Murray is washed. Free MPJ and let him go to a team where he can show off the entire arsenal :wow:

Someone tell @Gil Scott-Heroin he can stop trying to bait me :mjlol: I will NEVER engage in a debate with him after he ran and hid for over a year from this board due to Draymond Green being absolute garbage.
MPJ showing off his entire arsenal leading the Nets to a 1-10 record.

@Squirrel The Jinx Man strikes again.

Why the hell didn't they trade Cam Thomas.... it's clear he wasn't part of their long term plan. Now he's hurt(again) and even when he plays you don't need him chucking up 20+ shots a game, playing bad defense and not passing to anyone

Who were Nets going to trade him to that was going to pay him the 25-30 million he wanted..if there was a taker he would have been gone..his market isnt there for the money he wanted

That's not the Nets problem, even as a expiring contract they could've gotten an asset that's worth more than him leaving in the offseason(which he will do) for nothing

Now they can't even trade him if they wanted to for multiple reasons; the QO and he's hurt, again

they can't trade him without his permission.

If you're asking why they didn't trade him last year, it's because he made $4 mil last year and played 23 games. What were you getting back? Another 2025 first?

Also, I think BK was hoping because there were no takers that it would suppress his value to where he would accept a below market deal. It did, but Cam was asking for RJ Barrett money and the Nets pretty much abandoned a long term extension.
