Its a scorer's league. We know Chuck can put a mediocre team on his back and put up 30 or 40 if he has to.
We still haven't seen Kawhi be THAT GUY. Is that his fault? Not really. The Spurs have a great group of guys around him. But we saw Chuck BE the system.
Idk if you can give the ball to Kawhi and say "win this series for us" and have him destroy his matchup like Chuck destroyed Kemp in '93.
Kawhi is MILES ahead as a defender obviously. But going up against Bron and KD...you're going to get roasted a lot of the time no matter how you defend them. Offense >>> Defense.
Not sure why I even bothered replying looking at your usernamePeople who make comments like this are either cacs or the kind of nikka that sits there and let's his white "friends" call him the n word and make racist jokes to his face.

I agree about Chuck's greatness. But, at what point was this? I don't remember Charles being neck and neck with MJ or even being 2nd best in the NBA.
Barkley was defiantly considered the 2nd best players for a couple if years i think the and 91-92 92-93 and besides that he was always top 5
I'd of probably given it to Olajuwon in '93 for his two-way impact tbh. That was the first full season Rudy T took over, did away with Don Chaney's equal opportunity offense (without the necessary pieces to pull it off) and started running things principally through Hakeem. It began in earnest what we came to see from him during Clutch City's back-to-back runs in 94/95, not to mention they were basically screwed over in the Semis Game 7 against the Sonics during the '93 playoffs.
That isn't to say Round Mound should necessarily be without an NBA MVP in his trophy case though because he likely deserved it as much as anyone in 1990 leading a garbage Sixers team to 53 wins and more importantly even had more first place votes than the winner Magic Johnson (38-27) but somehow came in second place. I think there was some shyt about a few voters completely leaving him off their ballot because he was a NWA.
Only in 1993 due to his MVP and the Suns success. No other years was he second best.
Karl Malone was top 5 in MVP voting NINE times and Charles was top 5 only FOUR times. From 1985 to his retirement , when it came MVP voting, only Malone was second to Jordan, winning 2 MVPs over Jordan during his reign. If anything Malone was second best, his stats and team record backs it up.
I agree Charles was always top 5.
and you know who are the charles barkley fans right now?Iverson stans wear jnco jeans
For someone always bytching about Kobe stans you can never get his name out of your mouthCharles Barkley ranks higher than Kobe Bryant in all-time greatness, despite Bryan't 5 titles to Barkley's zero. That would have been a better debate, particularly with the Kobe stans here who would lose their shyt over such a claim.
Iverson (while clearly the greater cultural impact) isn't even close.
