He'll be alright. Does he make enough to get a 4 bedroom house in Bear or Newark? No. But he can take care of himself and his kids. Like you said, people around here with way less make it work. If he had gone to school at 18...he would have more time to make mistakes and learn. The other thing is going to school for hotel management is the wrong path in that industry in my honest opinion. It's essentially a retail job. You work hard enough and put in your stripes you'll get promoted to manager and get by with an associates degree. Another important factor is choosing the right life partner. The game in capitalism is much harder to be in as a single person. Nowadays you need that dual income to have a regular life.

The pandemic is a once in a lifetime event that affected the tourism industry heavy. It's just a draw of the luck really. Nothing the breh could have done.
