It's 2016. the 90s were 17 years ago, almost 20 years ago. They ain't coming back. We have a whole generation of people now that weren't born in the 90s now coming up.
Alot of people are just behind the times and out of the loop and can't adapt to the changig atmosphere of teh world as the 21st century progresses. We are now seeing and living the difference of being deep into the 21st century (barely) and the difference between the 20th. Even though that distance between the two wasn't that long in retrospect/. Technology has truly defined the 21st century.
I see it on here. People think that social media platforms that have millions of followers like instagram, twitter, tumblr, are "trends". No...they are here to stay just like the internet. The internet will outlive us. People still want the radio to dictate what's good to them when there are people out there that haven't listened to the radio since 2005. Like myself. When there's thousands of music blogs, more artists that are known and unknown putting out new material on the internet, more news coming faster on the internet, and everyone else just can't keep up.
People still watch TV, but there's everything about TV and more original programming and more ability to dictate what you want when you want on the internet and there's more diversity on internet media than with TV, movies, magazines, etc.
Alot of people are late to the party and can't admit it and they will be left behind. The old way of doing things has BEEN over.
I hate to say it, if you joined twitter after 2010...you are a late adapter.
If you still have facebook...you're out of the loop...that shyt's for dumbass old people and middle aged normies.
If you diss instagram and say it needs to be destroyed...you're using it wrong and haven't even uncovered more than 5% of what that site has to offer.
If you don't know what a tumblr is, don't bother...not to be mean...seriously that's why I left from facebook to tumblr and deleted my facebook, tumblr is awesome cause none of my family members use it and I can be as real as fukk on there
