I think the graphics and power this gen have been fine.
If 10K 300FPS gaming is what you're after talk to @Ciggavelli so he can nudge you in the right direction.
Console gamers having a pissing match/splitting hairs over FPS and native vs upscaled resolution are running out of time.
Embrace the fact that console gaming is a more casual/fun gaming experience with none of the headaches found in PC gaming and enjoy the games.
Arguing over hardware is a battle you will always lose when someone with deeper pockets is always going to beat you.

i dont understand, maybe it's the idiot in me, but: the 1/ps4 were under powered compared to what? pc? 360/ps3?..what exactly were they under powered compared to?....if you talking about pc, then yea, they were, and that will always be the case when comparing consoles to pcs.....if you talking about compared to other consoles, then no, they werent...they were better than the ps3/360....if you comparing them to the 1s/pro, they are fine...cause for the most part, the main thing the 1s/pro will do is just make the games look better....i say that cause besides graphics, the performance upgrades will only be felt in single player, not mp...

i know people on here like to think they cutting edge and are the first on the next 'it' thing, and right now yall are trying to make that thing 4k, but it's not..in the future, maybe, but it's not right now....that shyt gotta reach 3d status of 'it' thing first, before it can even think of becoming the mainstream standard...seriously, i know a lot of yall on here are graphic whores, but most people off here dont care about ultra high def/4k like that...they dont care to see comedies, dramas, suspense, docs, etc., pretty much all non special effects driven movies in ultra high def/4k....they are good with reg blu-ray...hell, they are good with reg dvd (which are still here despite people on here claiming physical media was doomed and going away for the last 5-10 years lol)....so all this talk about 4k this/4k that and how important it is in consoles needs to chill for awhile...

I've been enjoying the fukk outta my xbox games. Not really disappointed in graphics, its all about gameplay which means it could be 8-bit graphically just as long as the game is FUN

Now sony gamers, because they had a slight edge in the graphics department they thought things was all good. Sure, most of those games had frame rate issues because the ps4 ain't really 1080p FULL HD Native like that.. but im sure it will reach that point as the years go by like they do every GEN

With the fanboys talking this graphical shyt, M$ just said fukk it we'll drop an early upgrade to slinece the bullshyt. Eventually those new systems will be outdated as well. We all are aware of this. So this thread is basically an undercover attack on sony stans.

Consoles this powerful 3 years ago would have cost an arm and a leg.

This is how technology works, it gets cheaper as time goes on. It's why Microsoft isn't releasing the Scorpio unitil next year. Price point is the most important thing.

For the price and time they came out there was nothing "underpowered" about the consoles.
