Dragonball would've ended rather quickly without goku seeing as piccolo kills everyone in DB.

Since there is no goku raditz never comes to earth and piccolo enslaves the humans.

Frieza get's the DB's wishes for eternal life and rules the universe.

no red ribbon army to create cell, no majin buu because there would be no humans on earth to fill his meter, no future trunks as vegeta never smashes bulma.

Frieza doesn't find out about the Dragonballs on Namek without the Z-fighters letting the cat out of the bag during their battle with Vegeta and Nappa. So the heavy hitters aren't racing to there. Instead, a saiyan scout would eventually come across the plant and attempt to take it over similar to Vegeta and Nappa on Earth. I think it's more likely the Namekians would use their dragonballs to protect themselves long before the threat of Frieza is in their face. That's why I said Guru would entrust Nail or somebody like him to use the wishes for the benefit of their race. If they somehow don't get their wishes off, Guru would probably dead himself before granting a galactic emperor eternal life.

It took years of frustration of never living up to a "peasant" for him to snap into super saiyan AND it had to be explained to him.

He also knew Frieza destroyed his planet before coming to earth too. So the shock of finding out that info from someone else wouldn't push him over the edge either.
