Alright..who's the best in the ring WWE wise at this point?

The thread was "best in ring". There's no one really close. If he could step up his promo game, just even a little bit, we would be a main eventer/multiple title holder easy. Needs Tyson Kidd back, even as a manager. Just needs someone to play off of, until he gets comfortable in the big leagues, like Big E got.

Everyone thought Big E was dead in the water after his ill-fated IC title run.

"Best in ring" doesn't, and has never meant, "Best/most moves". Cesaro has never had matches in WWE with story or drama except for his series with Sami in NXT. His matches have no stories, no selling, no anything except "look at this cool move and look at how strong I am" spots. That's not a great wrestler. Same thing with Balor, Rollins (actually he's worse since his gimmick and ring style were so at odds during his solo run), Neville, Crews, etc.

A lot of dudes can do cool shyt. Being a great athlete doesn't make you a great wrestler. Doing cool shyt doesn't make you a great wrestler. Cesaro is a great athlete and does cool shyt, but he's not a great wrestler. Certainly not the best guy on the roster of extremely high level talent right now.

I'm guessing a Bryan/Sami match would have turned out like the HBK/Perfect matches. They're too similar to have a great match with each other.

Cesaro has been the best in WW since 2013 or so. Zayn, Neville, Kofi and Owens impress me all the time though. Haven't seen enough of Nakamura.
