I see alot of people saying Cesaro. fukk outta here with that guy.
Cesaro would be the best if wrestling is real. He's the best athlete. But its fake and the crowd only gets immersed into his work when hes in the ring with someone with screen presence. He does cool moves, but he has no believability to anything that he does. It looks like a work. I hate wrestlers like that. He's a great hand, but he's not a great wrestler to me. I just dont buy into Cesaro. He does shyt that is amazing to me. But I dont think thats what makes u great in ring. Cesaro has to play to the crowd too much after he does a move. Which means hes over because of the move, not him. Mr. Perfect, Bret Hart, Randy Savage never had to that. Thats being good in ring. I'm not supposed to notice your moves... just feel it.
A ring general is someone like Jericho. Jericho's work begins once he comes out the curtain. He expresses his character through every action in the ring, his trash talk, interaction with the cameramen and audience. His selling, ring awareness and timing. Just like when Neville got injured, he knew exactly what to do. Because he's a general. He figured it out and had the ref not fubbed it would have been seamless. I take shyt like that into account more than just doing cool moves. Just having the crowd in a hold.
What i noticed is with ya'll dudes nowadays, is anybody who doesn't do a bunch of fake flips and holds is underrated. By that logic Bruno Sammartino couldn't work. Hulk Hogan cant work. The Rock cant work. Those dudes are some the greatest in that ring. Don't matter if the moves they do aren't some super duper flippy shyt. Wrestling is fake. The ones who make you care like its REAL are the best workers to me. People like Shawn Michaels can make you care and do fancy shyt. CM Punk, Bret, Flair, Dusty Rhodes, and even Cena.
Cesaro dont do that shyt for me at all. nikka begs the crowd to cheer him and that shyt will always decrease his rating as a wrestler for me.
I didnt know we were counting NXT guys.
Samoa Joe and Nakamura are incredible at what they do.

People must be joking with the Jericho mentions, dude has been sloppy and off in his timing af in his most recent run and he gets gassed minutes in 
She's the best at being a heel in the ring. If we're talking great heels, Miz doesn't get enough credit. He's top 3.
In terms of straight up in-ring ability? Probably Styles, Cesaro, Zayn (who has been having the best outings as of late) or Nakamura. Sasha Banks is in this conversation too, but Becky Lynch might be a smidge better. I'm biased to Sasha though
In terms of complete packages, in no order (in-ring skill plus making a crowd care/love/hate you)? Rollins, Owens, Sasha, John Cena (his US title run, match quality-wise, was fukkin godly, not counting that springboard stunner shyt), and Nakamura (as his charisma has nothing to do with him cutting a promo).
