low key one of the best backups in the NFL, I have watched him play some snaps in Patriots preseason games and he has a rocket arm and poise in the pocket. He's not athletic, but should a team offer a pick and give him a chance to start, because he will rot in New England Brady is going nowhere soon.

Thats why I'm asking for people who have seen more of him than I have, he just seems like a very prototypical QB and thought he was a draft steal. I think he's better than Jake Locker or Blaine Gabbert but hes gotta get that shot while he's young or I should ask if you are a bad team do you trade a 4th or 5th rounder to find out.

He doesn't just need more on his body of work to pass a fair judgment... He actually needs a body of work, period.

Until he gets some regular season action, who knows what he's got?

Let's also not forget the last Brady backup who shined when he got his shot, had a team trade for him, thought they were getting a , and ended up getting instead.

I saw the same thing. Don't know about his IQ but he's in the right place to improve on that. Interested to see him get time at some point.

He has outstanding mechanics, is a natural qb, and has a great arm, but idk about his decision making or reads at the nfl level. Possibly yes....josh mccown is probably better though.

I think he's got the most potential of any back-up QB in the league to be a really good starter someday.

I dont know how he'd do outside of Beli's system & on another team at the moment, but if he had to play for the Pats now i think he'd do well
