Am I missing something or have there truly been no dope projects for like 6 months?

The semi finals were :wow:

Motto got robbed :pacspit:.

Honestly power coming back you should listen to some new artist .

Soca on another level because they are starting to embrace other islands .

So the sounds are changing and like I said power coming back.

Jab and Bouyon are being embraced a lot more .
Oh word, Jab Jab is getting love :blessed:Jab jab is the shyt though.

J'Ouvert in Brooklyn be a movie when that Jab Jab music is playing.

Interesting, maybe I'll check it out cause to me the music wasn't the same to me after awhile and was slipping a little.

Besides the stuff from Krit, I been going back to what I know: old UGK, Cash Money, TI, 8ball & MJG, and a gang of R&B.

Every once and awhile, I’ll hear something that catches my ear, but as each day passes, the rarer that gets

First off...I don't listen to these super young nikkas - baby, gunna, tamagachi, etc. so please dont drop their projects

That said, outside of meek, dream, a few loosies from KRIT, and part of anderson paak's album, i feel like i haven't had a good project to listen to in months. future's new album was garbage and on the r&b front, there are a few tracks i've come across but no ep's, mixtapes, or albums that got into heavy rotation either.

am i missing shyt or has it been legitimately kinda dead the past few months? i always look at what projects are stickied here and there hasn't been one i wanted to hear outside of those named above...:(

Missing a lot, have noticed The Booth has really fallen off and is very late not up to date with most things now unless it's mainstream, that's why mostly spend time elsewhere when it comes to Hip Hop now, cause it's very stale and behind in a lot of cases...

K-Rino released 4 great albums. The Fo-Piece, brilliant work on those.

Some other names who have released good-great material recently, Method Man, Meek Mill, Black Thought, Z-Ro, Styles P, Kay Slay's new project, Joel Ortiz, Lil Wayne, Logic, Papoose and those are just some of the more known names, there's an absolute abundance.

People should really expand their taste and knowledge and stop choosing to be ignorant.

There's rappers from all over the world dropping dope music, Lowkey, Chester P, Thaddeus Fathead, Recognize Ali, Jasri X, Glenn Waco, Lady Leshurr, Crooked I, Family Bvsiness, Sa-Roc, Ms Banks, Fliptrix, Young Devyn, DP Da Prophet, Planet Asia, G00se, Five Steez, I could go on and and on...

I've given up on The Booth though as it seems like a lost cause, but will occasionally come through and post, it's still good for some things, but in terms of Hip Hop music it's embarrassingly far behind, archaic and imbalanced so better to spend time elsewhere productively, even online, but the knowledge base here for so called Hip Hop heads is embarrassingly low, it's mainly the same rappers talked about over and over and over again, narrow minded and ignorant, and a lot of people that revel in that ignorance.
