they dont want to put the work in.

  • Cutting your hair low and brushing damn near all day for two weeks straight.
  • Wearing a durag 20hrs a day
  • Brushing your hair in the shower.
  • Woofing for a month or more after each haircut so you get better and better waves, after each cut.

These nikkas aint built to be wavy. They want it the easy way
all this really isnt necessary besides wolfing :what:

Nah, let me stop:lolbron:.

When you're in the shower, brush while you shampoo and condition and after.

When you dry your hair, don't just aggressively towel dry.

Towel dry like you're brushing your hair with the grain as if it's a brush.
fukk all of that oily and slimey shyt nikkas put in their hair to look like it's ultra shiny and shyt.

Put a mid-light amount of Cantu curl cream or other product that is light and immediately brush after rubbing it in your hair.

Use a really good durag, tsurag or stocking cap and in the morning brush it after you take off the cap.

Thank me in a few weeks. Let it wolf alittle and cut it no lower than a 2.

Then, thank me again.

It's the way you cut it.

Should be with the grain

I thought I didnt get waves either but cutting with the grain changed the game entirely. My genetics help me get waves easily now.

I can’t believe y’all brehs be putting weeks of hard labor into getting waves. :mindblown:

It literally takes a me an hour. Shampoo, Conditioner, pink lotion or olive oil, brush for about 30 secs, durag, set. If I want deep waves, a day. And I only need to brush once more, like a few hours later, again for about 30 secs, and then setting it back in the durag for the rest of the day.

Granted, my natural hair is like this..

But I had no idea brehs was putting that amount of time and effort to getting them shyts. It ain’t that serious. I naturally wear my hair curly not wavy and only wave up if I go out on the weekends. Sometimes. But I like to switch things up and will be over waves within a week.
My hair is almost the same as yours

your Boule family has been doing decades of selective breeding to ensure their offspring got that 'good hair'

Thank me later gotta brush brehs gotta brush and brush and brush

An older breh told me this is how his generation started losing hair (obviously not everybody but tha wave brehs)...constantly brushing on the top of your head causes thinning. Makes sense to me.

It wasn’t the brushing it was the wave pomade most non natural wave pomade is terrible for your hair that’s why I use wave storm and African herb oil and wash my hair with Kels barber bar brush

I first got em when I was 13. I was determined to get them. I remember I brushed that whole summer, as my pop who’s OG wave gang used to tell me keep brushing and they’ll come. I finally got them, and that first day of high school was lit. Had a Mexican cutie come up and ask how I got my hair like that *insert Bill Cosby pudding face gif*

You gotta put in the work

Stay away from the pomade & other petroleum based hair products unless you wanna be bald.

Get a curve brush. These type of brushes make it easier to get progress faster.

Torino & 360waveprocess got those type of brushes.

Get you some coconut oil & some Shea butter. Hair health is important.

Don't slack on the brush cuz it'll show.

Hardest part about waving is actually getting them. Everything after that is basically maintenance.

That line mark around your head after you wake up with your durag too tight
:wow:

Watch the 360 jeezy durag tutorial. The lace is meant to be completely flat and relaxed and not be wrapped around your forehead like a shoe string.Yeah the rag is meant to be secure on your head but do not tighten it that much.
