Mostly talking about the people under 40

I literally don't understand how it got so popular. Its literally an ass backward way of listening/owning music
I'm a music head, and I'm actually into owning my music, having a collection that you'll have forever. Streaming just seems like borrowing the music temporarily as long as you have wifi

Even newer albums that came out in the past 5 years. I usually just buy the CD or download it digitally from Amazon

Streaming has such a disposable feeling to me :hubie:, no wonder most of the music coming out right now is disposable music

breh....no one wants to store cds or keep a hdd for music anymore....

im all about freedom and mobility

I've been downloading since the Napster days and I've got a lot of dope ass rarities that can't be found on streaming platforms

dude in here made a joke about a Dilated Peoples mixtape, but I'm actually the type to have stuff like that

I don't know if you brehs remember UndergroundHipHop.com and how they would send out mix CDs with every order back in the day, they had the best of Sean Price, Pharoahe Monch, MF Doom, etc and well long story short I've been friends with DJ Food Stamp(the guy who did the mixes all those years) on FB for a minute.
he recently sent me a 20 gig folder of all his mixes he ever did for ughh.com

that's the find of shyt as a collector you're just not gonna have access to on a streaming service :umad:

downloading and collector brehs just got shyt that you streaming brehs don't got and well never be blessed with hearing :yeshrug:

but it doesn't really seem like streamgang are really serious heads anyways so you prolly feel like you're not missing out on anything
real heads know better tho :jawalrus:

You can own your music.... and stream it too. :francis:

I used to be on this same bullshyt. But the math works out better in reverse. Paying $15 a month is way cheaper than buying new music every month. And you can still buy and own music if you really want to. Streaming has actually helped me find more music to buy and own.

I don’t. And have no issue downloading, adding to iTunes and taking it from there. I know where to get music at a moments notice and would rather put together my own playlists with shyt that I like instead of skipping thru trash Post Malone and 69 tracks.

And these streaming services don’t have instrumentals, rare remixes, concert bootlegs, extended versions or studio demos (or unreleased joints).
