Saw a documentary on the guy and he is a real cool dude, just seemed lazy and unmotivated by the game when he first got drafted.

He donates to chairty and does a lot of community work, I think he had the talent he just simply didn't care.

Now he probably notices that one paycheck from draft day isn't going to last him forever and is noticing he can actually make a career out of the sport.

I`m all for the guy, especially working with J-Gar.

Im rooting for the dude, I hope he gets another shot. Seems like a cool guy he just didnt work out in Oakland.

I think if he would've went to a more stable, less dysfunctional franchise he would've been better. IMO him and the Raiders both share blame for that shyt failing

And there is a good point that Oakland is such a clusterfukk it's hard for anyone to succeed there.

There was a quick segment once on him where they showed him back home.

Guy was donating a lot of money to the community and doing things for the community. Can't find it anywhere online

:jawalrus: 'bout to be the Jets new starting QB. Rex Ryan did say he wanted an explosive offense to go along with his defense. :youngsabo:

If he's serious about salvaging his career and truly wants to come back because he misses the game and has something to prove then i will root for him. But if he's just coming back for he paycheck and is still damn near 300 pounds then to hell with his career. You get a second chance in the NFL you better not blow it. But with their talent there is a place for him and Vince Young.

If he joined the Jets that would be the ultimate.

Cuckold Rex doesn't want any competition for Michelle

I'm a huge JaMarcus supporter and wish him nothing but the best in his comeback.

I can't speak for his practice habits or the way he carried himself in the locker room or the huddle, but I felt like his decision making was always pretty good. Just with the dysfunction of the Raiders locker room, average at best skill position players, horrible offensive line, terrible offensive philosophy, etc. they had to blame somebody.

I will say his comeback isn't looking that great when he can't seem to drop any significant weight. If you 300+ you should be able to drop weight fairly easy at first.
