not know how streaming works brehs :camby:

you don't have to download anything on Spotify unless you can't afford to have a better data plan, Apple Music is different because you can't play anything new that's not on your cloud already unless your on wifi.

TBH I hardly have time to listen to all the music I dl to begin with, and a lot of it is random people/labels I follow on FB, Bandcamp or Soundcloud that prob aren't on spotify:yeshrug:.

I like streaming music, but I feel disconnected from the music now. Before spotify and other stuff, I used to go buy an album play that shyt until I had every song memorized and even study the liner art. Now, I download an album and rarely if ever listen to it all the way through.

My only beef with Spotify is the lack of mixtapes. My workout playlist isn't the same without the Future and Esco tapes.

Get the DatPiff app. It lets you search for and download mixtapes straight to your phone.

:russ: this gotta be the dumbest post I've read for a minute

Typically, the reason you pay for something is to own it. I'm not really into, say for example, renting a home from somebody and them being able to just say "nah we're selling this shyt, get the fukk out". The people who brag about having 600 gbs of music, or have a large physical music collection probably like to own shyt... ownership decreases limitation. I never knew having something that's your own is some nerdy collector shyt... I thought ownership in whatever form was the goal.

So if you wanna rent shyt your whole life... you're grown? Oh ok. :snoop:
If I pay 60 bucks per month for my phone I might as well pay 70, I'm not poor. Sometimes I'm out and I think of a certain song, or having a pre party and people want to hear different songs and all.

I don't see limitations in having Spotify because I can have both downloaded shyt and everything else. Dudes are in here acting as if, if you have Spotify you can't download music. I.e. At any given moment I have access to 30M songs plus the ability to do exactly what you are doing so you are the limited person. Also technically speaking it's stolen goods, the police can knock your door down and take you and all your songs. I feel good paying for music, 120 bucks per year is more than I ever spent on music.

They don't even sell laptops with big drives anymore, the most sold MacBook is 128 and 256 gb ssd. Because the modern (at least major city) millennials are fukking with the cloud. Of course people do but not in my circle except the people who do shyt like movie editing, DJ's, old people and certain programmers/developers.

Yeah I was kinda surprised at how much shyt you can't find on them streaming services. Underground ground shyt and music before 2000 can be pretty hard to find on them things

Looking back now I think it's hilarious how musicians use to complain about getting monetarily fukked by Napster and kazaa :mjlol:

It was so much easier to cake back then before streaming

Same here. Streaming is for top 40 and comercial shyt. I fukk with youtube to check something out and if I like it ill DL it on an mp3 site I have that's had 85% of the songs I've searched for since I've been using it.
