preciate it breh. i know about interest and such, I just didnt understand having multiple cards. But that puts it in clear perspective.

I'm not gonna tell you to use a card because card users spend way more the cash users. Its easy to swipe a card but you feel it when you gotta count that cash out.it takes a lot of discipline.

All I'll say is if you do get a card,get one that works for you.Something that will benefit you using it.

At first I thought you were just trolling but then I recognized your name and remembered you're just stupid,and smugly stupid at that. Go watch TV or something.
Cool story bro. Don't recognize your screen name at all, just the web to me, not keeping a diary. Feelings don't negate truth. :to: Don't be a girl.

You're approved for a card, cool. You open the line of credit up. No such thing as having an outlet to borrow from (having a card), not using it, and not having it cancelled eventually. Either cancellation or an inactivity fee. Pick one.

Don't ever put anything on your CC that you can't pay off within that month unless it's some huge, absolute necessity and that is your LAST option. CC interest will tear you up. It can get up to as high as 20%. That's Warren Buffet-esque level of returns for the CC company. 20% on $2,000 balance is $400. That's a lot of money right there.

Your posts reek of counter argument Googling. Waste of my time. People from a distance can't tell who is who.

@kevm

The default interest rate on most cards is 29.99% and what's even more fukked up is that if you default one one. Other companies can raise it to that even if you having defaulted on theirs. shyts crazy.

And your posts reek of emotional puzzy juice. I'm not complaining tho :manny:
Funny thing is, I've had several friends credit lines closed because they don't use them. Cancelled cards don't benefit credit, nor do cards that don't have any use. Keep thinking it's just Googling tho. No company benefits from giving you credit and not having it used. It logically makes no sense for them to keep extending that offer to you when they can do so for someone else who will gladly give them the interest they want.

Your credibility doesn't go up for getting approved for a loan. It goes up for paying them back. There's two parts bud.

Wow@30%. I had no idea it had gotten that high. That is some loan shark type status. Just goes to show you how much of a grip these corporations have on the nation. People have to be aware of the rule of 72. That is how long it will take for money to double at a given interest rate. For example, if I have $100 and get 30% interest on it, it will take me about 2 and a half years to have $200.

If you are maintaining large balances at 30% interest, you're putting yourself in a position to never paying that off due to compounding interest. The balance will explode if you don't significantly cut into that.

Nothing wrong with credit/debit cards.. but people should still have cash. No reason to be buying miniscule items with credit cards.

I used to not believe in CC's either. I only have one that I got in college just for emergency expenses and kept the credit limit low (like $750 or some shyt)

Until I lost my debit card overseas and moved around a lil bit so I didn't get a replacement in the mail for 2 or 3 months. I raised my limit cause I already had pretty good credit, paid for everything with my CC and since I wasn't using debit, I had the full amount of cash on hand to pay it all off every time on time. Since then my credit score and rewards looking :win:
