Am I the only person embarrassed about being a descendant of slaves?

No. But I am I ashamed of other blacks who are ashamed of their ancestry, history, & everything that being black encompasses.

The thing is that they are not ashamed of their ancestry and history, because they don't really know anything about their ancestry and their ancestor's history. They are actually ashamed of what White people have told them that their ancestry and history is.

That is why I hate the word "slave", because the Black people that were brought here were "prisoners of war."

you got issues with muslims?
 nikka I'm muslim you know that by now

I'm talking about the people who culturally erased the Nubian Language started adopting Arab garb as the national dress and got the people warring with each other tribally

and caused people like me to question their African ness at times even with 4 black grandparents( 2 possibly mixed)
