I don't see why he isn't. You see his mental adjustments during the course of games.

No he does not. I watched pretty much every snap of luck his final year. I actually thought Lucj was overrated. But he never made as many dumb throws as Jameis. And I thought Luck made aloit of dumb ass throughs.

We are going to have agree to disagree on this one Reb. I am a pretty big Jameis fan, but his skills are not even close to Luck. And I am a big time Luck hater.

reall shyt....i think they had it set up where the OC called a base play in and if he didn't like it or saw something to exploit, they let him make the call at the line...can't remember where I read it but most definitely remember seeing he had free reign to call his own plays

only thing I see that Luck had over him is he's a bit more mobile plus I think Luck called his own plays....Jimbo is too much of a micro-manager to allow that to happen. Luck also went thru his progressions better and the obvious quicker release but the other things you want (anticipation throws, ball placement, checking into the right play, reading defenses, etc...)

Breh, Luck was better. I am not a Luck fan at all. The INTs Jameis has thrown this year, even Luck would not have thrown. And Andrew was careless as fukk with the ball like Winston.

I get arguing Winston is great. But sorry, Luck even as reckless as he was never threw as many awful Ints as Winston. Trust me breh, I hate saying this. And I think Jameis would be a better day one starter then Mariota.

Man I wouldn't say Jameis makes dumb throws. I will say he does tend to force throws in windows that aint there, but shyt a bunch of QB's do that. A lot of his picks come from him just anticipating something and it doesn't happen or the WR does something else.

All of his flaws can be fixed imo

Luck never had to break in 2 starters at WRs and 2 RBs that he dumped the ball off quite a bit too. I agree, he pressing a lot of throws this year but a lot of teams aren't falling for that O'Leary out route underneath anymore either..4-5 of his INTs to Nick came from LBs jumping that route cause they know its coming

Luck his Sophomore year was not on Jameis level. Luck is faster and came outta school more polished (due to staying all four years), but Jameis is special. He's a wiz in the film room and with the playbook and a leader of men before he turned 20. They're both great QB's, but the chapter this kid is writing in college can not be overlooked. He dominated with a veteran laden team, he's groomed a new cast of WR with obvious growing pains, all while basically ending his career with a Heisman, a chip, and either only one loss or no losses and another chip. He's special.

Luck never had a WR to break in. fukk this, I do not want to defend Luck. I am not really a fan of dude.

I will just say this, I think anyone who drafts Winston will be in good shape...

Yes he was. U dudes are letting these offenses cloud thing. Even under Harbaugh, they were too conservative. Mainly cuz their strength was the oline and TEs. They didnt push the ball down field. Andrew Luck would've been the 1st pick after his soph yr over Cam.

If Andrew Luvk made the mistakes Jameis makes @ FSU, they woulda been like 7-5. He had very lil room for error w/ that stanford team. Thats whyvthey couldnt beat Oregon.

The most comfortable thing to a young QB in the NFL is familiarity.......Now, its no coincidence that Indy would go get Luck's former OC in college....and that's simply because, most NCAAF philosophy translates in the NFL.....

Mighty funny every other young and talented QB didn't have the luxury of having his collegiate OC through the growing pains of his professional career......

And what's more sad, is that PEP aint even mentioned as a part of Indy's offensive prowess......

You gotta love white folks.....They keep it consistent don't they?

Pep Hamilton is going to be a Head Coach. And Luck didnt have him till his 2nd yr in the league. Luck's 2nd OC is going to get a HC job. Hes THe'sdoing what Ray Lewis did for his DCoordHe's getting them jobs. And again, that was David Shaw's offense @ stanford. That offense looks nothing like the O indy is running now.

Again I have no clue what any of this has to do w/ being a better prospect. All these guys work w/ the same people in the offseason.

also gotta wonder, FSU's system make Christian Ponder and EJ Manuel look like competent QBs and both were drafted in the 1st round

Jameis is obviously better but still some food for thought
if you watche Winston and watched Ponder/Manuel in college and cant see the difference between Winston and those two bums, then you dont know shyt about football.

Lucks college OC is his current OC as well. Seamless transition

The fukk it was. Pep's play calling most of last year was god awful and I'd take Arians back in a heartbeat. He's been better this year, but Luck himself has gotten quite a lot better.
