No. It's an undercurrent that many don't want to acknowledge.

I don't see him as any different than Andrew Luck coming out of college.

Dude is the floyd Mayweather of qbs. Better get to him early..cuz when he adjusts.... :scusthov:
:banderas:
Herbstriet hit it right on the head during the telecast...Jameis is so advanced that he throws so many passes with anticipation. If the WR and him don't see the same thing or if they don't win outta their breaks, it turns into a pick. Jameis as a SR in college against college kids would be unfair on levels we've never seen before.

Damn, I watched the game at the bar. Wish I could have heard Herbstriet's analysis. Good post.

Andrew Luck was more mobile, could throw on the run better, and was surrounded by subpar C@Cleticism @ skill positions. Jameis is overrated as a prospect if anything. Dude is surrounded by studs.
Man get outta here with this bs
C@cleticism. Shaw was way too conservative to use the lil bit of talent they had. Fleener is trash and Ertz was hurt when Luck was there. Owusu couldnt catch and Ty Montgomery was a freshman. Please dont compare Stanford's recruits to FSU's :comeon:

And just from a talent standpoint, Luck displayed more intelligence, a quicker release, and better ball placement as a red shirt jr. Parents want their kids to be like Andrew Luck. :beli:
You do know Jameis is only a redshirt sophomore, right?

also gotta wonder, FSU's system make Christian Ponder and EJ Manuel look like competent QBs and both were drafted in the 1st round

Jameis is obviously better but still some food for thought
You can't be serious. Manuel and Ponder (ESPECIALLY fukkING PONDER) were reach and grabs due to potential. Neither had shyt to show for it (Manuel had an elite D his senior year), and Ponder didn't do shyt in college. Also, neither have the ceiling that Winston does, and that's saying a lot. Winston has a lot to show for with what he's done in college, and he still has a lot to learn.
Man fukk Andrew Luck
A-fukking-greed. I know people are going to hate me saying this, but I've always felt Luck is overrated.
if you watche Winston and watched Ponder/Manuel in college and cant see the difference between Winston and those two bums, then you dont know shyt about football.
Exactly

Get off that crack breh

He was wildly inaccurate down the field against Miami.
What's he going to do in the pros?

He'll go down as a great college football player, but he doesn't have the accuracy to perform at the next level.
And he locks in on his receivers way too much.

Why is that important :why:

Tannehill had his college OC, and they ended up firing him.

And again, Stanford's O was nothing like the current Colts O. It was way more conservative and even more is put on Luck.

Jameis is a better prospect than that Overrated azz Mariota. I can't believe a team would even take him rnd 1.
His college coach was a proven NFL loser prior to his return to the NFL.

Is that what you're going to tell us in here, or the GMs that rated him the top qb in the draft?

As if you were warning the NFL.

I hate dumb ass fall bAck responses like this. Russell and Winston are nothing similar.

Both are big mobile quarterbacks with strong arms and no accuracy who run (ran) simplistic offenses.

Look, if you're a Winston fan, I get it. You gotta defend your boy because you're probably one of those fans who can't find any criticism or fault with the guys he roots for.
You're an ostrich with his head in the sand. I understand.

But reality checks hit everybody.

It just is what it is.

:manny:

Winston can't throw the football more than 20 yards downfield with any accuracy and you know it.
Blaming it on some bad ankle is bullshyt.

Hold up....you're comparing LSUs offense to FSU?

You expose yourself saying Winston's downfield accuracy is suspect based off of ONE GAME on a bum ankle. Now youve watched enough games and you're knowledgable enough to say FSUs pro style offense is simplistic to that of LSUs? :childplease:

You're trying too hard.

Jamarcus Russell got the number #1 pick thanks to the Sugar Bowl game against that piss poor ND defense.

If you watch the regular season that season, Russell was far from that. He was horrible against Auburn, who had a legit defense.
