am I the only person who thinks Jameis Winston is a underrated great QB prospect???

The most comfortable thing to a young QB in the NFL is familiarity.......Now, its no coincidence that Indy would go get Luck's former OC in college....and that's simply because, most NCAAF philosophy translates in the NFL.....

Mighty funny every other young and talented QB didn't have the luxury of having his collegiate OC through the growing pains of his professional career......

And what's more sad, is that PEP aint even mentioned as a part of Indy's offensive prowess......

You gotta love white folks.....They keep it consistent don't they?

You are so right about that brotha.

FSU has been running a basic offense for years breh.
Winston wouldn't know a hot read if the defense told him what they were doing before the play.

This dude is going to be about as successful in the pros as Christian Ponder.
But it just is what it is.

:sas1:
LOL, yea ok playboy....run a pro set offense that set an all time record in pts scored, margin of victory, and several other offensive categories. It may look basic cause who the previous QBs were but I'll link you to every season thread we've had on here where the main concern was "Will Jimbo take the handcuffs off and trust Ponder/EJ/Winston?" These past 2 years are the first time since he's been HC that he's actually trusted the dude under center. And your Jamarcus comparison is totally off base. Jimbo was his OC at LSU and he was nowhere near as successful as Jameis has been the past 2 years

http://saturdayblitz.com/2014/10/30/jameis-winston-intangibles-yet-enough-accuracy-nfl/

"Many of his throws were very easy throws, including the 68-yard touchdown to Travis Rudolph, who had the secondary beat by a mile, and the 35-yard touchdown to Freddie Stevenson, which was an easy short throw that Stevenson turned into a touchdown."

"His other touchdown to Ermon Lane should have been intercepted, but on that one play two things happened: Louisville defenders collided trying to defend it"

"This isn’t to knock Jameis. He clearly is getting better at making great decisions and making the easy throw. But he still has trouble picking up blitzes, he still overthrows receivers when trying to hit them in stride over the middle, and he still gets bailed out by a lot of help"

"Dating back to last year against Auburn, Winston’s throws on that game-winning touchdown drive were all easy throws. Then against Oklahoma State, Rashad Greene simply bailed him out time and time again, as he did against N.C. State. Winston looked pretty good and against Notre Dame, but once again tonight, it was the plays called for him to get easy passes to his deadly weapons that helped his stats."

But yall think he's gonna get away with this shyt at the Pro level?

:mjlol:
and the coach is suppose to make it difficult for his QB to succeed and get the W?? please, tell me more breh

Damn, I watched the game at the bar. Wish I could have heard Herbstriet's analysis. Good post.

Man get outta here with this bs

You do know Jameis is only a redshirt sophomore, right?

You can't be serious. Manuel and Ponder (ESPECIALLY fukkING PONDER) were reach and grabs due to potential. Neither had shyt to show for it (Manuel had an elite D his senior year), and Ponder didn't do shyt in college. Also, neither have the ceiling that Winston does, and that's saying a lot. Winston has a lot to show for with what he's done in college, and he still has a lot to learn.

A-fukking-greed. I know people are going to hate me saying this, but I've always felt Luck is overrated.

Exactly

And thats why your opinion doesn't matter :mjlol:

There is literally nothing Jameis Winston does that is better than Luck. Well, he rapes better :usure: allegedly :mjpls:

if youre a fan of Jameis, you should want dude on the Bears with those weapons

I'm a FSU fan so I'd want him on my team. The same way I wanted Benjamin last year.

hes gonna drop, he'll be there
That's assuming teams don't want him due to his off the field issues (and I'm not making that assumption) I don't think he gets past both Tampa Bay and Tennessee.

Jets are gonna miss out on both Winston and Mariota
