Thank you, I saw somebody try this same nonsense with the movie monkey man that was also produced by Jordan Peele

He has only written/directed 3 movies

• Get out
• US
• Nope

Most of the other stuff is equivalent to those "Quentin Tarantino presents" type movies.
I.E. things produced/endorsed by said person

Like I said before,

Peele need to stop putting his name on shyt because he's gonna get the blame as he's the name people know...again. Like the 3rd time this had happened.

Especially with nikkas.

He’s 3 for 3 in my book. Jordan Peele only produced this (i.e. put his name on it) so it’s not his vision, writing, directing or anything dealing creativity.

I haven’t seen Him but I will to support at some point

Monkey Man was ok

But Nope was a Nope

I cant see Marlon Wayans in no lead serious role at all

I liked all 3 of his movies. Get out was great and doppelgangers scare the shyt out of me so Us was terrifying. Nope was an interesting look at what chasing fame will get you and I liked that.

I get everything can't be a classic and I hate to tear a brotha down during these times , but Us was mid and Nope was legit a 6/10...

HIM is getting wild 3/10 scores and it didn't look good in trailers so I wasn't even that pressed to see it in the first place.


It might be time to pivot to a new genre or tone, all the greats have done it and coogler done it! Twice!!

with weird CAC money and expectations too!


If I watch this I'm watching only off the strength of Marlon Wayne's supposes acting MASTERCLASS (he out acted leto in requiem for a dream), I'm done expecting high level writing or anything groundbreaking.
