Most you won in a single night?:mjlit:
Most you lost in a single night?:mjcry:

As a host/player made 9k twice.

As a player I've made 1700$ and over a 1000$ quite a few times. Usually my goal is 500$ per trip. So when I get to 1000, I'm more than happy with that. So I don't usually press my luck to get to 2k. Bcuz I've been up 700, loss it and left down a 1000. That's worse

I realized that 90% of the time I go up 200/300$ . And I decided that those couple of hundreds add up. Especially play 3/4 times a week.

A lot of people get greedy and want to break the table and end up losing it all back. I've been doing a great job this year leaving when I'm at the peak in profit. I'm sure I could've ran it up to 3k or more, but 1000$ profit is great. Why risk it??

How much you lose last year :unimpressed:

I was probably broke even last year. :yeshrug:

Skills and strategies has grown so much this year. Last year I wasn't cool 200$. Today I am, that's with hold. Now with PLO I'm cool with 500. I've been on a few great streaks. I've won the last 4 or 5 times I've play

920$ last night
300 $ Monday
400 $ Sunday

Might play 400 or 800 tomorrow. If I lose that I'm out and not hurt.

Any advice for someone to ease into playing at a casino?
I only play poker in RDR2 but I know the game pretty much from that, is it as simple as taking $200-300 with the expectation to lose it while you get comfortable at the table
I wish some casino had like learner tables for all the gestures and calls the dealers do without explaining shyt :francis:

That is my exact thought process.

I played in Kuwait daily for 8 months. House game no rake. We have a solid 15 players. Our game would start at 1900 and run till maybe 2400 almost nightly.

Stakes were low. Highest ranking person was a captain. Had a few contractors but mostly enlisted. Most I lost a night was $300. Most I won was $1200. I’d hit $300 and chill unless I was running the money. Had between 2-4K on the table per night.

Made over 10K. Bought gold, silver and a few chains. I didn’t go out much outside AJ so I had nothing to spend money on. I miss playing.

play micros and freerolls online. don't do play money cause you'll pick up some foul ass habits playing villains who don't care about their bankroll. this goes double for high skill games like plo8 or 2-7sd, there's no substitute for real money experience.

Holdem 1-3 and 2-5 sometimes 300$ starting
5 card PLO @ MGM 1_2_5, $400
PLO in Louisiana is usually $500 minimum buy in

Play style: depends on the table. A lot PLO games I'm serious bcuz u can win big or loss big . Usually the every one at the table has over a 1000$ under them. I'm more cool and fun at holdem table, but im tricky. People don't expect me to be good as I am. I win a lot bruh. Like 9/10 times I play

I don't usually snack at the table. hot tea and a drink if i'm about to leave. I play home games in the hood too.

We should get sometime going. Im sure we can share knowledge and get better

you playing 2-5 with a $300 bankroll and coming up?

what u gotta all in on the first hand everytime :russ:

It's been a good year. I've made about 15k this summer alone. 6k last month most at MGM at the National Harbor. I was able to take the whole off, travel and play poker. Since June I've won about 35 of 40 visit. Won my first ever tournament in Houston last month. Feels good to be good at this game.

How good have you found your competition to be? Marks...middle of the road players.....absolute sharks? What was the spectrum like?

What is your philosophy of when to know your limits? How do you handle emotional tilt? If you even have it at all

If you know how to play, you'll be fine. When necessary, just ask the dealer for clarification on any action that's been made once it comes around to you. After a few orbits, you quickly acclimate to live games.

NEVER ever muck your cards until the dealer pushes chips towards you. Every now and then you play at a table with hustlers trying to pull the "you got it/you win" okeydoke.
