Amara trying too hard for white chameleon racists approval.

After all the shyt she has been thru in the industry, she should know better than to give these blk wannabes any leeway.

She stupid.
Once again, I have friends of all different races and none have EVER fixed their mouths to say the n-word anywhere near me.

People need to ask why these non-blks WANT to use the word so badly when they know the historical context. She a coward giving a pass to a group of people she wanna be down with.

Everybody has the right to say it. Its 2 syllables and you can't conceivably stop people from saying it even if you wanted to. And its dumb to put it in songs and not expect people to sing along if they like the song. But, some people are gonna get offended. It is what it is.

Cacs and record labels incentivise saying it.
Plus they know which rappers to promote they agenda.

But honestly there's way worse racist shyt going on than that. I don't see it as racism, using a word in a racist way depends on the context.

And making a record label profitable is fukking hard. Any agenda is at like 57th place on the list of priorities. You don't have to force people to like dumb shyt, people are already into it because its the lowest common denominator.

People are really short sighted if they actually want to live in the kind of society that censors language and free thought (right or wrong) like that.

So youd walk right up to a random hispanic and say "what's up my spic"?

And if not why wouldnt you?

:sas2:

I wouldn't walk up to a random black person and call then a n word so your question don't apply to me.

Theres other reasons your question don't apply to me but fukk all that.

If a Latino did pop off because u called them a spic or wetback it ain't because u hurt their feelings, it's because u actually intended disrespect. If u woulda called that same Latino the N word in a disrespectful tone they would react the same way.
The ocean ain't the only form of water :mjlol::mjlol:

the term was originally coined and applied only to Mexicans who entered the U.S. state of Texas from Mexico by crossing the Rio Grande river, which is the U.S. border, presumably by swimming or wading across the river and getting wet in the process.[3]

:dwillhuh:The whole reason for the wetback slur is bcuz the Rio grande river separates texas from mexico and since its shallow enough to wade through in some parts it's one of the most preferred routes that illegal aliens use to enter the country, and in the process sneaking in their backs get wet:smugfavre:

OK I learned something new

My point still stands Latinos will not be :mjcry: if you decided to get on some "if u can say this then I can say spic" shyt. Like I said if one did get offended it would be because of the disrespect intended and any other word woulda got the same reaction. You just gone look stupid and wild emotional if u went around saying "my spic" on some "bu...bu...but yall be saying my n tho".

I mean if y'all wanna be sassy be my guest :hubie:

I'm just telling u how it look from a non sassy perspective.

Some of yall in here dumb af.

So I gotta let spanish people call me the n-word because a rapper put it in their songs? :what:

I really wish the dikk sucking nikkas who cosign this disrespect would wear a badge that says "You Can Call ME 'nikka'!" So they know who to try with that stupid shyt. Some of yall negroes don't deserve the skin you're in.
:ld:A lot of these nikkas rationale comes from the fact that they dont want to wean themselves off of Latina p8ssy or Latin drugs

When other races hear nikka in a song they like and want to sing along to I think they should replace nikka with the derogatory term thats used towards them from other races.

White people say can replace nikka with cracka

Hispanics can replace nikka with spic or wet back

That's the solution. The only solution. Because when they get knocked the fck out for thinking they can say nikka cause it's in a song they go be crying. Along with anybody who gave them a pass

:what: Or you can lead by example and stop calling yourself and your people/family n*ggaz, but I keep forgetting that your argument is for the victimized and unaccountable.

Maybe it ain't everybody, but behind the scenes there are individuals and groups in corporations that have a bird's eye view of how racist the music biz is.

Selling or refining racist stereotypes that WS profits off of is important enough that it factors into private conversations. Look at those leaked Sony emails or Lior Cohen and company.

This is not coincidence or a minor factor. Racism is very profitable and Amara feeling she can give a pass for access and get acceptance in return is one example of it.

Or black people can just say spic, wetback, and cracker. We even. It's not that hard to not say. It's just they don't want to bow down or show respect to black people. They feel like black people got too much power over them if they have to follow the rules and can never say nikka.

But hey knock yourself out if you can't help but to say it. But you've been warned. It's a non black person getting knocked out, pistol whipped, shot and killed every day for saying nikka. So if you willing to risk your life and die because you want to use a word that black people specially said you can't use then be smart about and get some life insurance first then go roll the dice.

I really wish that since these people act like it's so hard for them to not say nikka that they would go to the hood and see if they still can't help they selves. Say it in the hood to say random black people if you really bout that life. Let's see what happens next

Fine, but this is a different argument entirely from somebody singing along to a rap song.

:snoop:

I'm not familiar with the Sony/Lyor Cohen stuff. Either way I think its at least partly a symbiotic relationship with the audience. People of all races have a soft spot for ignorant rap music where 'nikka' is repeated ad nauseum. Its not solely down to racism.

At the same time you can point to a lot of artists over the years who don't perpetuate stereotypes, even in the last 5-10 years there's been plenty of artists who aren't stereotypes, and they're some of the biggest artists around (Kendrick, Tyler, Cole etc). Its not like labels wouldn't take a rapper who doesn't say nikka all the time, but just about the only rappers that don't are white. There are artists who use it sparingly or ironically, like Doom, De La Soul etc which seems like a good way to go, and people like GZA who doesn't even curse but its debatable whether they qualify as mainstream, and honestly they're too complex to crossover to an audience like Travis Scott or Drake etc. Drake could easily stop saying nikka. He probably didn't grow up saying it with his upbringing, it seems like an affectation that he's added to his music to pretend to be street or whatever to balance out his R&B tendencies. I mean right there you have one man alone reaching millions/billions of people with the word out of his own choice.

I don't care about this that much but I'm just playing devils advocate and finishing my thoughts lol.
