1 - 3/4 = 25%

the irony

I really have no idea what you're talking about.

I'm under the impression that three quarters or 3/4 means 75%.

Again, not sure why you randomly picked the number 12 it's 13..... But 75% of a "12-man roster" is 9.... Not 3.

Not sure where you're going with this.

If 3 quarters of the team agrees-- this leaves 1/4 (25%) who disagree.

Rev was implying was that the 25% (3 players on a 12 man squad) who were in disagreement happened to be Melo/JR/Shump

I re-call Melo being a little jelly with the shine Lin was getting :dame:

Edit: receipts-- Report: Melo Ran Lin Out of NY
That whole situation was corny for the simple fact that Jeremy Lin had already been exposed by that point (ask Mario Chalmers and Norris Cole), and as that article pointed out, the Knicks said they would match any offer given to Lin but the Rockets offered him an absurd contract that would have only hurt the Knicks in the long run especially since Lin was and still is a journeymen PG at best.

People want to talk about Lin being hampered by Melo's ego but again, Melo at the time was and is a proven commodity, whereas the very same people who were saying Lin was overrated THEN are now saying that the dude who is a backup PG at best (regardless of where he was) was held back by Melo??

And where were these concerns when damn near everyone was shytting on D'Antoni's system, pointing out that it was flawed as fukk and did not take into account the other side of the ball? The same aspect of the game that Amare himself said he was never taught??

Is it Oochie Wally Wally or is it One Mic?

Remember when guys were calling for Pringles to run his offense around Lin :mjlol: What people seem to always forget was that the best Knicks season in a decade plus, came the very following year.

This man legit said he was never taught how to play defense.

Those words came out of his mouth.

I thought he said he wasn't taught how to rebound. Either way. that's fukkin' terrible.

I thought he and Carmelo were like cool off the court as well. If that's the case, this is a low blow on STATs part.

I dont think many people take Amare's opinion too seriously. That being said, the Knicks are in a tough spot. The Melo contract is brutal.

What does Melo's contract have to do with his comments and the situation hes talking about ? Sounds like you just want to bring it up as an irrelevant footnote...

Because that stretch infamously known as Linsanity was one of the most exciting and unexpected moments in the NBA in the past decade or so...and the hatred and jealousy Lin got from teammates and other players from around the Assiciation was palpable. Let's be clear--the mafukka is just a solid role player but he was on some superstar shyt during the little run he had. Tell me I'm lying. :mjpls:

Ur lying...exciting moments in the last decade ? :russ::russ::russ:
