I'm halfway thru ME2. People who have all systems, lives/etc tend to not finish tons of games.Your the fakkit, xbox dikk rider...
What is the point of a Single player story mode game. To play through the game, get immersed in the story right?
What about a game like heavy rain where the ending is despondent on how you react. Immersion is what your playing these games for. Whats the point of a campaign games story? To tell a story to get you interested in the characters and world's lore. Imagine a game in which you play, immerse yourself and have all endings lead to the same fukking dead end!?!?
Dont you think THAT IS fukkING BULLshyt! I could care less about the fukking tacked on multiplayer i came to see how the story ended... fukk that multiplayer component bullshyt! that shyt dont interest me. I could care less about having fun playing a game. That's why alot of these games are failing nowadays because their story and their ambitions to focus on that aspect is fukking weak! it's so damn weak....
Your telling me you play a solo campaign only game to have fun ONLY??? once that game is over then what? You dont seem to get it. There's a thing called the payoff... it happens in any form of literature story or otherwise. You sit and watch a movie, whether it's for a trilogy or standalone. the worst feeling to ever have when you finish is wasted time.
It's the same thing as playing Video games now! im paying money to enjoy myself but to see a good story. if the payoff is garbage it feels like wasted time.
Mass Effect came out years ago, they retconned the fukking ending with the extended cut bullshyt. So the original ending most people havent even seen. Who hasnt finished fukking mass effect 3?!?

Most even

And once again, you talk about movies/books and stories. Yes, that applies to those
Games? Not so much. The problem with gaming is its trying to be that, and then you start feeling the way you do. I knew all along that reaching for that isn't what makes a game good or fun
Because games was fun before they had endings. You do realize that the majority of games don't have endings like that. Every game can't be a snooze fest like MGS. You see, that game tries to focus on story so much that the story takes away from the game... literally since MGS4 was a 5hr game

A game should be fun first and foremost. A good ending is just icing on a cake. I loved the fukk out of Goldeneye on N64 right
Game would be fun regardless if it had James Bond or James Brady (he could be odd job)

I just wanna have fun though.
