I had a nice home automation set-up...then some Russian hackers posted audio and video of my wife and me making love all over our social media accounts...

I had to throw Alexa in the drawer. It would randomly think I was talking to it or say some shyt. Yeah I'm good on that.

Yeah, it's constantly listening for that audio cue "hey alexa" or whatever. Plus google or amazon employees actually listen to audio requests to train the AI as well.

Tech is advancing way to fast for privacy laws.
Alexa ain't loyal.

In some ways that's a nice feature, since many domestic abuse cases go by without the victim ever getting help. Double-edged knife though, these things are constantly listening. If you have one, don't expect total privacy in your home.

Yeah I would be on the phone and out of nowhere I would hear "I'm sorry I don't know the answer to that question." I'm done with it.
