Amazon Is Eliminating Bonuses, Stock Awards to Help Pay for $15 Minimum Wage Raises

Think this might be the last straw for me I am done with Amazon I know all companies aint shyt but this is some blatant immorality.

Man that convenience though. I be ordering socks, draws and brand new white vans just because I don't feel doing laundry or cleaning my shoes.
I love amazon but im done. I will use it to find items and search elsewhere. They actually might have given some workers a reduction in salary long term.

This is how I feel. I wish they got to keep their bonuses and stock options, but $15 an hour is more important imo
It would be nice, but I something that isn't mentioned that would be better than both is to what extent they receive employee matching on their 401k.

At 50 percent matching it would dwarf anything they would see by stock, espp, or bonuses.

if i'm going to give up the convenience of prime then amazon has to be the worst, but they aren't. if i stop buying from them the companies i will then spend with (have to be big box because they are the only ones with many locations close enough to me for it to be semi convenient) aren't better. i'm pretty sure most of their employees prefer the raises. both would have been nice, but it is what it is.
