you'd be eating lead paint chips if it wasn't for the government.

You, specifically.
I never said I don’t think there is a place for government. I just don’t think that more government is the answer to poorly run government.

We need more efficient government. We need government with accountability and we need government with integrity.

Government should be to ensure that the citizens are treated fairly are provided a safe working environment. and that companies are treating employees with respect and safety.

Governments don’t need to interfere with businesses practices or consumer issues unless they are doing something illegal

You live in Canada.

No, you actually left the US to live in Canada.

But more government is now bad?

:camby:
How in any way is more bureaucracy and more government better for the ppl?

Working in government lets you see how inefficient the government actually is.

There is so much wasted money, man hours and energy trying to jump through all these government hoops that are in place.

Ever try to open up a small business? Or try to maintain one?

I also find it hilarious to see all you Democrat and liberal dudes continuing this bezos headhunt that trump started.

The government refusing to take action against Amazon IS the government being run poorly. What progressives are proposing is what accountability and integrity looks like: making sure mammoth companies like Amazon don't get to evade fair taxation or anti-trust laws, don't get to stifle innovation and suffocate a fair market, and don't get to play by a different set of rules while destroying the fabric of an economically healthy society. That's all happening right now. These companies are allowed to run unchecked because they've bought off government. The government has a duty to protect society against the unchecked predatory capital that is Amazon. Break it up.

That’s my point though. Government is able to be bought off.
Government can be mismanaged. Government can be played. The market however cannot.

You are a gawd damn liar , so your telling me that cramer on cnbc does not have an agenda & the stocks he props up are legit & he's not benefiting from from it . Wall street is riddled with shams & lies . Dudes on here defend amazon which posted 2 billion to wall street in 3 months which refuses to pay a living wage . Let's not forget the enron fiasco & the 2008 melt down where i lost hundreds of thousands .

That is illegal. And that is what the government should be eliminating....but they don’t. Because the government is full of inept losers that lack integrity.

But. The public/consumers can make a stand by not supporting Tesla or any other products they make if they feel like he’s a shady motherfukker. Then he will lose money and his business. If the ppl don’t support him then he will go away. If the ppl do support him then it shows that ppl accept it.

The ppl will decide is the point.

You know what the government needs?
Term limits, integrity, and less bureaucracy.

Once they have that. Then we can talk about requesting more.

I’m not defending amazon. I’m telling you that we don’t need more government because the government we have is clearly already bad at doing what they are supposed to do.

Bruh, you are proving my point. These ppl get away with illegal shyt because the government is too fukkin inept to do anything about it.

The laws are in place.

Government provided the bail outs. Why?
Government allows tax breaks. Why?
Government gives tax exemptions. Why?

Amazon isn’t doing anything illegal. Fix the government we have first before asking for more.

I don’t give a fukk about amazon or any big company. Eliminate the processes that allow these companies to get away with what they do. Don’t attack the companies and ppl that exploit those policies...legally.

The government doesn’t give a fukk about you. They don’t need you to stand up for them.

I think the business community is as corrupt as the government so that is no point. We have to have the rules on the books. Saying let's have no rules because enforcement is spotty is bad strategy.
