:wow:I’m about to dust my resume off as we speak.
Shiiett, I said I would never move anywhere north of NC, but ima throw mine out there just to see if I can get a bite. Being an Amazon engineer does have a nice ring to it.

With a nice relocation package, them selling my house down here, and moving my fiancé and daughter up there, they can get my country ass up there

It was always going to be NYC. There's just way too much money and talent concentrated here to pass up. It's like if Sillicon Valley were dropped into a metropolis.

NYC
The reaction has been overwhelmingly negative as more and more details come out.

The former Public Advocate, Letitia James, sells the public out.

Spot on. It's a takeover type shiit. They are doing everything in their power to prevent that Sherman Antitrust Act from getting them splintered.

This is deeper than just a bunch of high paying jobs. I'm the biggest fan of seeing new growth in cities, but there is a bigger picture here...

However, I think Nashville had some logistical reasons being geographically perfectly situated between Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, and Texas.

They wont be able to afford the property taxes that rise exponentially.
property taxes don't rise by itself, they rise with home values. what comes with that? increased equity. what can these longtime black homeowners do with that increased equity that doesn't involve selling their homes? buy another home in a cheaper market like the warm south and rent out their queens home to take advantage of the rising rents.

yes they will be forced to sell and move thus they will be gentrified.
